Actually Jimmy only visited - Captain Arthur Philip was the smuggler who brought over 11 ships and a convict population of refugees (over 1,400) via the back door.

Asylum seekers are under no obligation (legal or otherwise) to stop at the first country they come to. Absolutely none.

They are under threat in Syria and Iraq, and are now in the process of fleeing those countries.

he does have a point , half the worlds population living in Asia would sell their grandmother for a ticket to australia, if we lose control of our borders we are literally fcked considering our geographical location.
