didn't he get his preferences from Labor and Greens?

as Tony Abbott said before the election..

if you don't vote for Liberal, at least give your vote to another major party... like Labor and/or Green

not to an independent who will put you over a barrel and give it to you in the rear..

but what did we get?

an independent with 0.5% of the vote running the country...

Abbott warned that this could happen... and it has

the Libs worst nightmare..

and you may laugh at that...

but its also the worst nightmare that Australians could have...

So, what is your problem?

Stupidity and ignorance have never previously been bars to election as a politician. Is it that he won on such a small primary vote, but preferences in his favour carried him over the line? It can't really be that as many politicians have been elected in a similar fashion. It can't be the money, as they have always been paid. I think I know what is really pissing you off.

Good news - group voting tickets are being abolished. No more backroom deals. And we will probably see half of the microparties disappear at the next election.
