Research suggests that the changes in Antarctic sea ice, both where it is increasing and where it is decreasing, are caused in part by the strengthening of the westerly winds that flow unhindered in a circle above the Southern Ocean

Because you misunderstand scientific evidence fundamentally. The idea that scientists across the globe have been fooled or participate in a conspiracy is ridiculous in the extreme. If you had any idea of how science works you would know this.
