Is Abbott trying to scare or threaten Qld voters? This in a speach at the LNP State conference in Brisane

He said key infrastructure projects could not happen if the federal government was forced to work with a Labor state government in Queensland.

"Only a coalition government in Canberra will work with a coalition government in Brisbane to move the people and the goods of Queensland around this great state," he told the party faithful

Is the federal government not prepared to accept a democratically elected state govt. if it isn't LNP?

Abbott should be thrown out of office and have all his perks removed for making threats like that.

It's not a threat. It's an observation that a Labor govt in QLD will refuse to work with an Abbott govt. The moral if the story being if you want stuff done in QLD, don't vote Labor - the obstructionist party.

Rubbish.  This Abbott talking, not ALP Queensland.

Looks, from this, that he will only work with a coalition govt.....

Also you might note that Abbott seems to think that Queensland starts and ends with Brisbane.

Cheesy
