Only 1.6% Are Homosexuals

I can remember years ago that the numbers were hugely inflated, and it was commonly claimed that about 10% were of the community was homosexual. This seems to have been part of a strategy to legitimise the activity and produce laws that suited the group.

I remember that stat well.
Even at a young I thought that something wasn't quite right with those figures.

Lol...I remember I used to count through all the people I knew fairly well and think that either these stats are bogus or there's a lot I don't know about the people around me. I dismissed it as considering that they were talking about the entertainment industry or something other.

The catchcry these days is that a person's sexual orientation is none of my business.
Whilst I don't expect gays to be walking around with a sign on their heads, I reserve the right to want to know what I want to know.

By far the easiest way I've found is those rare times where I've been introduced to somebody with something along the lines of "This is George, he's gay". It then gives the opportunity to say " Nice to meet you, I'm not gay but I have no problem with it". Then the conversation goes "What do you do for a job?" ..etc. etc. and that's pretty much the end of it.

I don't like the way we're being dictated to by telling us what should and what shouldn't matter to us. If it matters for me to know, then so be it. Nobody has the right to tell me otherwise.

Agreed that there are many circumstances which make it difficult, and it would generally be a bit of an initial shock to any parent religious or not.

I don't think that these surveys require parental notification.

With the extremely low level of bisexuals and gays ... seems something is wrong with the polling.

You don't need religious parents for that, many think its retarded to call sodomy a sexual act given where feces comes from. Some just use commonsense I guess. No wonder they hide in the metaphorical closet.
