Israel, thanks to a media blitz and a press office staffed with dozens of potential Oscar nominees, gets to go on an utter kill fest not seen since the days of the armoured Waffen SS rolling up to a rickety old Russian village - and all the world can say is "tutt tutt, fair crack of the whip, old chaps" while the US nods its head approvingly and throws them another half billion to keep themselves loaded with ammo.

You don't know what you're talking about. If you want a visual of what's really happening in Gaza, you need to search it out. You're not going to get it on CNN, Bobby. On CNN you'll get sanitised images that attempt to dehumanise the vicims.

That's another piece of Israeli bullshit propaganda that all the Zionists seem to swallow eagerly - that Hamas don't love their children. It's pretty effective Othering. Our own govt used it to good effect in the children overboard farce.

Yes, Bobby. But they are sanitised to protect your sensibilities. For your viewing pleasure, if you will. That way you get to "tut tut' without having to see the reality of what a child really looks like with its intestines flopping out on the ground beside its dead body or its brains leaking out onto a hospital bed while an inconsolable mother weeps at the loss of the child that (according to the Israelis) she doesn't love.

I just don't see the blame being with one side bobby. The radical islamics want Israel wiped off the face of the earth and the Jews want to expand. I believe both sides are beyond talking and the more powerful army will win. I feel sorry for the innocent people caught up in this madhouse.

Not at all. According to that source, they have already announced their intention to do so. Now we'll have to wait and see what unfolds.

In an age of information/propaganda, one of the biggest problems we face is that facts and opinion are reversed. This leads to the problems Aquascoot described - an inability to empathize with fellow humans. It’s how the Holocaust was allowed to happen, and today, it’s how new crimes against humanity are excused, deflected and abstracted out of all proportion.

A Finnish reporter stated yesterday he saw terrorists firing rockets at Israel from the car park of that hospital that was hit recently.
Hamas is deliberately using hospitals and schools to attack Israel from.
Hamas wants the IDF to kill civilians.
