So why the MSM focus on Gaza and the tactics of Israel? The whole thing's been done to death. Everybody knows that after the cessation of overt hostilities this time, there'll be a repeat.

The Israel/Palestine conflict presents the biggest security risk in the world. It’s an ongoing conflict amidst the world’s main source of oil. Israel is a nuclear power. Israel continues to occupy territories seized in 1967. It is surrounded by countries that hate Israel’s guts. There’s a new war every few years.

Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan - all pussies. Israel is the big one. Solve the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and you will release the biggest source of tension in the world.

A nuclear power that refuses to ratify the non-proliferation treaty, no less.

Of course. Israel will neither confirm nor deny that it has nuclear weapons.

Considering Israel has won the last four major wars against their aggressive neighbours, I would think they could still be in with a chance without using nuclear weapons.

This is not the policy if the Israeli government, or the practice of the IDF.
The IDF is clearly going out of it's way to warn civilians of impending strikes, however the civilians prefer to listen to Hamas commanders rather than the IDF.

I prefer to watch Hercules myself, rather than read the 'what if' scenarios of a few military analysts who engage in conspiracy theories on Wikipedia.
I think Israel would much prefer to have peace eh.
This is what they have always demonstrated when not under attack.
And Hamas can have peace too should they stop attacking.
But they wont stop will they.
Their Charter of Hate against the Jewish people and Israel, and their past and current practices show they won't stop until they are dead.

The Jordanian Defence Force killed 25 times more Palestinians during the Black September Massacres of 1970/71 and it wasn't labelled a holocaust then either.

Yet the Hamas rockets continue, ...and, i have not seen even - ONE - media interview with civilians from Gaza, where the civilian in Gaza - points to all of the surrounding devastation - and demands that Hamas must cease rocketing Israeli cities and towns.

I'm sure 1.8 million people could fit in an area the size of ten football ovals comfortably.
If the Rolling Stones can hold a free concert a few years ago on a beach in South America in front of 1 million concert goers, I'm sure 1.8 million can fit in a larger area on the southern border with Egypt eh.
The real question is would Hamas allow people to leave Gaza?
