Isn't it true that Palestinians had been living near the Wailing wall for over 200 years &
that the Israelis bulldozed their houses?

Yes, that is true.

Well it wasn't a very nice thing to do.

They set them up in much better houses ~ and gave them all employment for a better life.

Same with the Abos.

We bulldozed their humpies and built them brick houses to live in ... and tried for 200 years to give them a job for a better life ...  Cool

I don't believe that.

I saw a Pally on TV who was living in a rubbish dump after the Jews bulldozed his house
with his mother inside it - who was killed.

His poor mother was as flat as a pancake.

No doubt.
Perhaps mother should have listened to the instruction to get out.

She may have, if she had actually existed..

The Palestinians aren't doing too badly judging by the mobs of small kids they have running around the streets.

In my own street it's no more than two kids per family at most, just to survive.

Any more and they would be living in dire poverty.

But watch any footage from the Middle East and you'll see small kids by the dozen everywhere the cameras go.

Venezuela condemns Israeli invasion of Gaza

...

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has condemned Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip, saying the Tel Aviv regime is committing genocide against the Palestinians.

Maduro made the remarks on Sunday, comparing the Israeli invasion of the besieged Gaza Strip to an “extermination.”

In addition, Maduro said the Israeli actions against Gaza could not be justified as like-for-like warfare.

“Venezuela also rejects the cynical campaigns trying to condemn both parties equally, when it is clear you cannot morally compare occupied and massacred Palestine with the occupying state, Israel, which also possesses military superiority and acts on the margins of international law,” said Maduro.

The Venezuelan president has called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council to condemn the Israeli regime for its atrocities and policy of genocide against the Palestinian population in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Bolivian President Evo Morales has also condemned the Israeli invasion of Gaza, saying it was time to take action “to end the genocide that Israel is carrying out on Palestine.”

Israeli warplanes have been carrying out incessant airstrikes against Gaza since July 8. On July 17, thousands of Israeli soldiers launched a ground invasion into the densely-populated strip as well.

A total of 478 Palestinians have so far been killed in Israel’s war on Gaza and more than 3,000 others have been wounded.

Palestine?

It was never about a homeland for Palestine/Arabs.

It was, and remains, a reason to marginalise and 'exterminate' the Jews.

We know it - they know it.

The apologists will now kerfuffle.

Pick a fight - get what you asked for.

That is all.

CNN pulls journalist from Israel over 'scum' tweet

TV correspondent Diana Magnay has been reassigned after labelling Israelis cheering missile strikes on Gaza as 'scum'.

A CNN journalist has been pulled from covering the Israel-Palestine conflict after calling Israelis cheering missile strikes on Gaza “scum.”

Diana Magnay used her Twitter account to castigate the crowd gathered on a hill above the Israeli town of Sderot on Thursday night.

She also alleged some had threatened the TV crew. Magnay tweeted: “Israelis on hill above Sderot cheer as bombs land #gaza; threaten to `destroy our car if I say a word wrong.’ Scum.”

In a statement sent to the Huffington Post website on Friday, a spokeswoman for the U.S. TV network said: “After being threatened and harassed before and during a liveshot, Diana reacted angrily on Twitter. She deeply regrets the language used, which was aimed directly at those who had been targeting our crew.

"She certainly meant no offense to anyone beyond that group, and she and CNN apologize for any offense that may have been taken.”

In an earlier dispatch a group of Israelis could be heard cheering on the strikes.

The CNN spokeswoman said Magnay had been reassigned to Moscow.

A day earlier another U.S. broadcast network, NBC News, pulled correspondent Ayman Mohyeldin from Gaza after he posted stark images and comments on his Twitter feed following an Israeli strike that killed four Palestinian children playing on a beach.

Hundreds of people attended the funeral of 20-year-old Moshe Malko at the Mount Herzl military cemetery in Jerusalem, one of a series of burials for the 13 soldiers killed in Gaza on Sunday.

As his coffin, draped in an Israeli flag was lowered from a military jeep, wails and sobs erupted from members of the Ethiopian Jewish community, of which Malko was a member. The coffin was accompanied to a grave by a phalanx of uniformed young soldiers, many in tears. Community elders, dressed in white shawls and turbans, stood close by.

Tomer Siyonov, 22, a friend of the dead soldier, who finished his own compulsory army service two months ago, drew deeply on a cigarette as the eulogies were delivered. "Hamas killed my friend; we need to kill them – not just the Hamas militants but all the people in Gaza," he said....

Israeli soldier posts Instagram picture of Palestinian boy through his sniper rifle!

New Delhi: An Israeli soldier has come under fire for posting a picture of what looks like the head of a Palestinian child, in the crosshairs of his sniper rifle.

The picture, which was uploaded by Mor Ostrovski, on Instagram could not be verified, but according to media reports, the message was very clear and aggressive.

The minarets and Arabic architecture of the village captured in the background suggest the boy and the town are Palestinian. Ostrovski is an Israeli soldier in a sniper unit...

Why do you suppose these rallies show a lot of Muslims in hijabs and beards who aren't even Palestinian immigrants to the West, but Arabs from other countries?

What's their stake in this if it isn't simply Muslims being outraged for religious reasons against non-Muslims?

If this is not so ... then where are these same people in massed-rallies protesting against the ISIS Muslims butchering their way towards Baghdad?

It exposes the moral hypocrisy very clearly for all to see. These rallies have nothing to do with outrage against civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip. It's all about propagandising the Israelis as evil monsters while completely ignoring the horrors being perpetrated by the ISIS barbarians.

Then there are the usual red-flag-waving socialist and communist white Anglos once again cynically taking this opportunity to pose as the Moral Conscience of the Nation in the hope of impressing naive uni undergraduates to join up with them.

Deduct this untidy rabble of Islamic moral hypocrites and Marxist opportunist cynics and how many ordinary folk are left at these rallies? Not enough to make for a backyard barbecue.

Herbert, you'll no doubt be pleased to know that the IDF are using flechette shells against the Palestinians. When flechette shells explode, thousands of sharp, pointy darts can tear anyone unlucky enough to be standing within about 300 metres.

for those who believe nothing.. then history will be in an even worse mess than it is now.. everything is recorded even setting the alarm clock is recorded somewhere..historians in 200 years will have a terrible time deciding who or what was telling the truth..

we watch it as it happens every night on our TV.. yet we are now told not to believe any of it.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

we no longer have artists painting history and hiding the paintings for dozens of years..

so just who do we believe.???

are the cameras filming said atrocities not really doing so  Roll Eyesits all Hollywood illusion???

cods,

Because some areas in Gaza, are where military activity - directed against Israeli civilian areas - is coming from - Israel has OPENLY AND PUBLICLY declared to Gazans that Israel is declaring those areas of Gaza to be 'hot' military zones.

And Israel has - OPENLY AND PUBLICLY - advised all civilian residents of those areas, to leave those areas.

But it is also being reported, that Hamas is telling [is ordering?] local residents of these areas - NOT TO AID ISRAEL - BY EVACUATING those areas.

cods,

QUESTION;
Are these truths, all a Hollywood illusion too???

HEY ITS NOT ME THAT CLAIMS ALL MEDIA [OR AT LEAST THE ONES SOME CHOOSE] ARE SHITE AND SHOULD NOT BE BELIEVED..

cods,

QUESTION;
Because Hamas cadres choose to 'hide behind' many of their own women and children - while they [Hamas] launch rockets against population centres in Israel - [the argument being made by some] is that the Israelis cannot/should not, target Hamas [in their efforts to prevent the attacks against population centres in Israel] ?

THATS WHAT I MEAN....... JUST WHO DO SOME BELIEVE ARE THE PICTURES WE SEE EVERY NIGHT

HOLLYWOOD BULLSHITE.

SOME ACTUALLY BELIEVE THE PROPAGANDA COMING OUT OF RUSSIA RIGHT NOW..THEY PREFER THAT TO WHAT OUR PM IS SAYING...ITS QUITE AMAZING REALLY.

Quote:

"Moderate" Palestinian Authority TV:
'Palestinian children created to fertilize the land with their blood'

"Our children are our glory and honor,

they were created to be fertilizer for the land of Palestine,

and for our pure land to be saturated with their blood."

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2012/02/moderate-palestinian-authority-tv-palestinian-...

Google;
"Palestinian children created to fertilize the land with their blood"

I DONT NEED TO GOOGLE ANYTHING.. I BELIEVE WHAT I SEE ON MY TV.. FOR THE MOST PART I DO BELIEVE ISRAEL IS LETTING THEM KNOW WHERE AND WHEN THEY WILL BOMB...HOW THEY KNOW WHERE THE HAMAS ARE HIDING I WOULDNT KNOW.. BUT I DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR INTENTION IS TO KILL CHILDREN  JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT..

ITS HAMAS WHO DO THE WRONG THING BY HIDING BEHIND LITTLE CHILDREN...COWARDS,..

cods,

Thank you, for that clarification.

For my own sanity, I have to believe that you people who don't care just aren't thinking. Surely if you just thought about how terrifying this war must be, you'd have to feel some empathy. At least for the children and the frail. For the parents who lose their children.

There is something wrong with any parents here who can put themselves in the position of those whose children are dying and not feel empathy. What parent doesn't feel compassion for another parent whose child dies in front of them?

I could probably write your callousness off if you just didn't care, but you seem to take some kind of pleasure in the suffering of the people there - that's frightening.

That's awful.

War is Hell.

Why has Hamas not been taken to face war crimes at the International Court in The Hague when year after year they initiate rocket assaults against civilian targets in Israel ... with predictable repercussions from the Israeli military?

Would you like to answer that, instead of sneaking off to the Ladies until I've gone away?  Cool

The rockets are ineffective for their purpose. They very rarely hurt anyone.

But I agree. The members of Hamas should be strung up for giving Israel the excuse. I read the other day that Khaled Mishal denied responsibility for the murder of the three Jewish boys, but said the people who did it are "blessed." For that alone, he should be shot.

Herbert,

'Nail-on-the-head'.   !!!

I would have added....

.....the ISIS barbarians, and the Hamas barbarians.

Whether they refer to themselves as HAMAS
              - or the Taliban, or as Al-Qaeda, or as Boko Haram, or as ISIS, or as Al Shabaab, or [in Australia] as Brothers for Life, moslems - they are all moslems [i.e. are all inspired by the same 'light'] - and they are all a LAW-LESSNESS unto themselves.

Dictionary;
Muslim = = a follower of Islam.

EVERY moslem, is a follower - of ISLAM.

EVERY moslem, is a member of the moslem community.

Quote:

Here, for example, are two very illuminating passages from the canonical Life of Mohammed by Ibn Ishaq, as translated by A. Guillaume, and a third passage, from the earliest known Muslim historian.

Ishaq: 204 - "'Men, do you know what you are pledging yourselves to in swearing allegiance to this man [Muhammad]?' 'Yes. In swearing allegiance to him we are pledging to wage war against all mankind.'"

Ishaq:231 - "Muslims are one ummah (community) to the exclusion of all men. Believers are friends of one another to the exclusion of all outsiders."

And here is Al-Tabari, a very early Muslim historian, in book 9, chapter or section 69, reporting words that Muslims believe to have been said by Mohammed himself - "Killing infidels is a small matter to us".

These texts are not fossils from a distant past. They are not dead letters. They are still 'live' and carry tremendous weight in the imagination and practice of many Muslims around the world.
...DDA

Google

ISLAMIC law texts declare, moslems can 'lawfully' kill 'unbelievers'/apostates,

"Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Prophet said: "The bare essence of Islam and the basics of the religion are three [acts], upon which Islam has been established. Whoever leaves one of them becomes an unbeliever and his blood may legally be spilled. [The acts are:] Testifying that there is no God except Allah, the obligatory prayers, and the fast of Ramadan."...."
fiqhussunnah/#3.110

n.b.
"Whoever......becomes an unbeliever.....his blood may legally be spilled."

ISLAM - wicked, evil, murderous.

Moslems - followers of ISLAM.
