Familiarise yourself with the rules:

I think that means boycott... if more did it instead of adding fuel.. the place would be better off I think.

we cannot ban the mods... thats what the thread is about...

its certain mods that ban people when someone doesnt speak the speak they approve of..

which seems to be a conflict of interest if you like..
and an attack on freedom of speech..

unless the language is extreme..they do not have a reason to ban anyone surely?iii

Very much so but there is such a thing as a civil discourse. By all means boycott a forum if it is felt that you cannot get your views across but I am sure there are others who won't feel the same way. I have no problem with opposing views if they are expressed in at least a semi-civil manner but the role of moderator is to make sure the rules are agreed to. This appears to me to be yet another attack on a moderator who has a difficult time at best herding cats. If you don't like the moderator or the moderation, say so in a civil way and bring it up here and let their style be discussed appropriately. You have to though, accept the decision of the umpires over whether a moderator is doing a good job or not.

For what it is worth, I believe Gandalf is doing quite a reasonable job. He's warned me, about my posting style and I have modified it appropriately. I'm happy with his performance.

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour. Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe? Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes
