8 million dollar a year to track them, bit of a joke really.

There is no way there going to put 24 hour surveillance on them for years on end.
They will monitor for a month then move on when they blow there overtime budget.

I doubt ASIO will just walk away from people who are a great chance of committing a terrorist attack.

ASIO like most organisations have budgetary limits which force them to prioritise their time.   Then of course, the subjects of their surveillance may just be innocent afterall but of course, the bias against Muslims inherent in the thinking of many in the security apparatus won't let them realise that.   Roll Eyes

So they should devote equal time to Christian and Atheist terrorists? How about spineless apologist terrorists?

They should devote time to ALL Terrorists who represent a credible threat, FD.

It shouldn't matter as what ideology or religion which motivates them.  They should not develop neither a blind eye or myopia.   Roll Eyes

So you support them devoting a significant effort to tracking Muslims, way beyond what the size of our Muslim population alone would suggest?

Is it mere suspicion, bigotry or is there credible evidence which points to them being a credible threat, FD?  Or do you just want them to purely concentrate on the Muslim community because of your own bigotry?   Roll Eyes

Considering that most Terrorist attacks which have occurred on Australian soil have been by non-Muslims I'd suggest it was important that the Intelligence services did not develop myopia.

Absolutely not, FD. They should spend their time on the Muslims - okay, the spineless apologists as well. That's it.

Maybe ASIO will spy on the 2007 FD, eh?

Apparently the government has started cancelling terrorists  visas. Great stuff. That will save some money.

Page 24 of the weekend Australian (9-10 August) carries a picture of a young muslim girl, aged about five.

She holds aloft a placard with "Jews haven't learn they need Nazi ( picture of a swastika) more than before"!

It is in Australia.

Mum and Dad would have put that in her hand knowing they could not get arrested for racial hatred.

We do not require or desire scum like that in Australia.

We need a muslim tax now.

And you with your stupid faces have decided that? I think you should look inward to your core. Then again why bother you'll find nothing of import.

It is future terrorist attacks that they are trying to prevent, not the small number from the past (which does ironically enough, include one by Muslims, so yes, Muslims are already over-represented).
