Do you know the difference between legitimate criticism and inventing lies FD?

Now FD, where did I say that?

Can I ask the question now?

You have gone out of your way to sidestep this key question. I have no issues with criticising ISIS, I have made it clear I am only talking about the lies - so why do you continue acting obtuse about this?

The FGM story was a fake - most of MSM have retracted their original story. Mahdi spent most of his final days here posting pictures from an Iranian feature film claiming it was a real life Syrian woman being stoned for posting on facebook. He couldn't even bring himself to concede t was fake after I proved to him it was. I see parallels in your attitude to these ISIS lies. You have all but said these lies shouldn't be acknowledged because ISIS is the bottom of the barrel anyway.

Why is this important? To defend ISIS? - no. To acknowledge this is part of a vile campaign to smear all muslims

Oh look, the original question I asked has gone unanswered, despite endless demands I justify asking it.

AL, are you denying that they are engaging in slavery and mistreatment of women, or just complaining about photos going round on facebook that depict the wrong acts of horrific violence?

Well you didn't ask me that, but no I am not denying they are mistreating women etc, and yes I am complaining about fake photos that are meant to defame islam (as well as pointing out the absurdity of people thinking it necessary to invent stories about ISIS, of all people). And no, as I keep saying we are not talking about a few facebook photos, but what was reported in MSM.

Good point Gandalf. This is the question I asked you:

How is criticising ISIS an attempt to smear ordinary Muslims?

Its not.

Would it help if I wrote it in a different language?

I am glad it only takes a page or so to get a straight answer these days.

it was in response to your ridiculing of people who dared to point out that some of the stories about ISIS are fake.

For pointing out the truth, you call it "an attempt to draw sympathy for head hacking Muslim extremists", whereas I call it "exposing blatant lies designed to smear ordinary muslims".

Has it sunk in yet that I am only talking about the propagation of lies - and that I never in any way said that legitimate criticism of ISIS is equal to smearing ordinary muslims?

My question was not about why you think it is a lie, but why you think it is "designed to smear ordinary Muslims".
