My question was not about why you think it is a lie, but why you think it is "designed to smear ordinary Muslims".

No, your question was about "criticising ISIS" - which I don't consider the same as propagating lies.

The FGM issue has been the flavour of the month for islamophobes, which is understandable - the most effective and emotive racism throughout history has always been related to frightening people about 'what they want to do with our women'. And it is not the first time fake stories of this nature directed at islamic communities have surfaced. Just because fake stories emerge about a group that smears itself very well anyway, it doesn't mean they are not designed to smear islam and ordinary muslims.

And just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Why you think it is "designed to smear ordinary Muslims", other than that it would not be the first time? Do you think that the community ISIS is creating is an ordinary Islamic community?

To smear ISIS? For fun? To see how many "ordinary" Muslims will seek out any opportunity to stand up for ISIS?

These are all plausible explanations Gandalf. Why do you leap to a conspiracy to smear "ordinary Muslims"?

How is criticising ISIS an attempt to smear ordinary Muslims?

Its not.

Would it help if I wrote it in a different language?

Yeah, mebbe you should have a translator, like the 'grand' mufti. That way you could say anything and the opposite of anything.
Being restricted to English you seem to be caught out too often.

I agree FD - people like Yadda and Mahdi who propagate these fakes have absolutely no interest in smearing "ordinary muslims".  Tongue

It is amusing, yes, to watch FD squirm when his posts have a light shined on the dark corners in which they normally fester.   Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

Where are the *ordinary* muslims who are condemning those teachings of muhammad, the commands of allah in the qur'an and  verses in the hadi'th (which inspire the islamic terrorists, torturers and mass murderers) as wrong, evil and absolutely not relevant to the 21st century?

Untill they (if they exist) come out of the woodwork, all muslims are in it together, some physically, some morally.

Where are the *ordinary* Christians who are condemning those teachings of the Bible, the commands of God in the Bible and  verses in the Testaments (which inspire the Christian terrorists, torturers and mass murderers) as wrong, evil and absolutely not relevant to the 21st century?   Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

Gandy, do you support or oppose the caliphate being established by the Islamic State?
