The way I'm reading this Ferguson shooting is that there seems to be some doubt about whether or noot the officer had genuine reason to be afraid for his life.

They also face a higher likelihood of harsher sentences for broadly similar offences, lower likeli hood of substantial assistance departures as well as increasing discretion given to law enforcement personnel under the Fourth amendment.

Correct.

And the deceit behind this seemingly innocent plea for fair-and-equal justice is that the courts are dealing with a black's fifth or sixth appearance before the bench, while only the first or second time for a white committing the same offence.

And so the black gets sent to The Big House, while the white is given a caution.

That's the bit the activists don't include in their Victimhood Statement because it's counter-productive to their agenda for seeing fewer blacks in jail.

Could you please provide evidence as to this statement? The studies I saw cited seemed to take those considerations into account and still found bias.
