Then there was Aussie Tony's arrogance in relation to the downed airliner, Everyone stand back, Aussies 'ave died. Stop your war, get out of our way or we'll send in 'armed' guards (what a joke, Glocks up against AK47s). We should have been grateful that they even let us in at all, it is a war zone after-all.
so IT IS OUR WAR ZONE>. why wasnt I told..
I agree Abbott should have bombed the lights out of them and been done with it.
why didnt he do that???????????
It's not 'our' zone in any sense. Abbott should have some respect. And the airliner was shot down because it overflew a war zone, more than for any other reason.
Aussieland couldn't even defend itself against Fijians if they'd decided to invade us with outrigger canoes. Aussies depend on the country they despise most to give them security, the US.
REALLY.. and theres me agreeing with a lefty who think Abbott didnt do enough...hohum cant win...
btw I dont dispise anyone.. especially USA... you can take your HATE and JAM IT..
I think more aussie respect America than despise it as you claim..
I do have a few boomerangs lying around.. I am sure I will defend ok..
tell you what .. at least I would have a go...not run like a wimp
I'd welcome the Fijians in, they'd do a better job of running this country than any cockney convicts ever could. And they'd be patriots, there loyalty would be to this country, not to mother England, which is where the Aussies loyalties lie.
But maybe we should let NZ run the place, at least they are not that far away that being remotely ran by another country wouldn't become an on-going embarrassment. Because, let's face it, it's only a matter of time before 'Aussies' start begging the British to resume 'full' control.
And an Australian delegation has already lobbied the US to take us over, something the Americans are too respectful to even consider doing of course. Besides it's something they couldn't legally do as we are still a British colony, something that Aussies reasserted in the 89 referendum.
