Beware Christians
Aug 15th, 2014 at 9:44am

Beware Christians, unless your LORD come upon you unawares.

Judah is your brother.

Romans 3:1
What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2  Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

Listen to what the God of Israel says,
'concerning the houses of the kings of Judah'
, and concerning the name of 'Judah';

Jeremiah 33
CONCERNING THE HOUSES OF THE KINGS OF JUDAH, WHICH ARE THROWN DOWN BY THE MOUNTS, AND BY THE SWORD;
....I WILL CLEANSE THEM FROM ALL THEIR INIQUITY, WHEREBY THEY HAVE SINNED AGAINST ME; AND I WILL PARDON ALL THEIR INIQUITIES, WHEREBY THEY HAVE SINNED, AND WHEREBY THEY HAVE TRANSGRESSED AGAINST ME.
AND IT SHALL BE TO ME A NAME OF JOY, A PRAISE AND AN HONOUR BEFORE ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH, WHICH SHALL HEAR ALL THE GOOD THAT I DO UNTO THEM: AND THEY SHALL FEAR AND TREMBLE FOR ALL THE GOODNESS AND FOR ALL THE PROSPERITY THAT I PROCURE UNTO IT.

God himself, says that - HE - will restore the house of Judah.

So should we who call ourselves 'Christians', not
'fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I [God] procure unto it'
?

Jeremiah 33:1
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
2  Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
3  Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
4  For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
5  They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
6  Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
7  And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
8  And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
9  And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

Be careful.     [....who you give your allegiance to]

The 'end of days' will come upon man, unexpectedly, because we will not see the 'end of days' which the Christian church [churches] are anticipating.

Isaiah 2:2
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Psalms 2:1
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Psalms 110:1
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2  The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Thus, salvation is for the "jews", i.e. the Israelites, not todays Edomite descendants, which renders the Catholic churches, and the Judaeo-Christian churches, universalism invalid.

Taipan,

The Jewish people [as teh servants of their God] were given an ancient commission from God to be the 'light unto the gentiles'.

To be an example [in righteousness], to the gentiles [i.e. all other peoples].

But like all men, the Jewish people too, failed to please God.

Taipan,

The God of the Jewish people is the one who is holy - not the Jewish people.

Deuteronomy 9:4
Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
5  Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

The salvation of all mankind comes through a very special Jew.

John 4:22
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Jesus was that Jew.

My understanding of what God say, in his word, is that;

If a Jew offends the the God of the Jews, if the Jew wilfully disregards his covenant with his God then that individual is putting his own redemption at risk.

Because - 'Israel' - is a state of mind.       .....OR, its spiritual.

Anyone can be a member of spiritual Israel [in God's eyes].

Anyone who seeks to please God can be a member of spiritual Israel.

Taipan,

For example, read Acts 8:26-40 of the black man, an Ethiopian....

Acts 8:27
And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
28  Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
....
....
36  And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37  And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Acts 10:34
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
