You know, it's nice sometimes to be reminded there are different views about Islam and Muslims than what are generally continually posted here.

Well, it seems I have to walk you through this

1. Both Islam and Christianity are religions.
2. Both Islam and Christianity have these things called "holy books" which contain the reveal wisdom of either religion.  In the case of Christianity its called "the Bible" and in the case of Islam its called "the Koran".
3. Both religion demands that it's followers give over a proportion of their wealth to the religious leaders for the use of the religion's leaders.  In the case of Islam its "20% of war booty".  In the case of Christianity its 10% of everything earnt, grown, etc.
4. These means that the two religions are comparable in their efforts to be self-supporting by getting their supporters to support them.

If allah demands 20% of all war booty then surely allah the most merciful of those who show mercy approves of war and stealing!

I thought this thread was the beauty of Islam yet it seems to deflect to other religions because Islam is devoid of any beauty.
