Kevin Andrews, keeping company with those who ‘can raise the dead through prayer’
....Lanfranchi also notes on her website that she believes strongly in “complementary medicine”, the “mind-body” connection and “the power of prayer” to treat cancer.
....Nalliah himself claims to have raised a girl from the dead by the power of prayer.
Crikey
Crikey indeed!
Prayer, is very, very powerful -
if God is in fact listening to us.
The one who created us has all power over all flesh.
But mostly he leaves us to our own consequences -
just to see if one day, we will 'wise up', AND TURN TO HIM, and start to make 'good' choices, instead of more 'poor' choices.
But i know that many people do not believe in the 'sky faerie'.
After all, the 'sky faerie' is invisible to our eyes.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
James 5:16
....The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Psalms 66:18
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:QUESTION;
Why would [or should!] God intervene, to help those who hate him ???
Jeremiah 9:23
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment,
and righteousness, in the earth:
for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 11:14
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
Ezekiel 8:18
....and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
Micah 3:4
Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them:...
A PEOPLE WHO GOD,
HATES!!!
THAT, IS US!!!
WHY SO ?
Isaiah 59:1
Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But
your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity;
your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
4 None calleth for justice,
nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief,
and bring forth iniquity.

James 4:8
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you....
Who is 'holy', and who is not holy ?
Who is
vile, in God's eyes ?
Numbers 16:5
And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him:
even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
Hmmmm.
The 'chosen' ones!
I wonder what that could be alluding to ???
Jeremiah 9:1
Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them!
for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies:
but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil,
and they know not me, saith the LORD.
4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.
5 And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth:
they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
6 Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit;
through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
