I'm not expecting much if any agreement, but the thread-title reminds me of someone in a very large US online forum several years ago, who repeatedly attempted to generate discussion/draw attention to -- something he'd noticed

The poster cited numerous examples of something he'd noticed, that being that when the msm headlined, say, a knife attack, it was followed soon afterward by several knife attacks

Acid attacks featured prominently in the media appeared to encourage a rash of acid attacks

The burning of a partner in the home, after being featured in the media, was followed by several other home-burnings, and so on

Media driven - to create copy-cats - to encourage nut-jobs to embark on atrocities featured (promoted?) in the media - granting attention to the nut-jobs and glorifying in effect, their nut-job behaviours - creating fear in the likely victims - creating anger and paranoia in the likely victims - thus granting the sense of power and control in the nut-jobs

but primarily media-driven, on behalf of those who stand to profit most from whichever orchestrated war

they do each time bobs.....they just dont tell the world I think its time our world leaders mentioned these soldiers as well not just the one Westerner..

Obama makes a long speech about a person he hasnt mentioned at all even though he has been a prisoner since last Oct..He even called him by the Muslim name he adopted when he converted to Islam after his capture...

what they are doing is pure EVIL no doubt about it.... from what I have read they have over 100 captives....what terror these are going through hardly bares thinking about...but you can bet your dollar...being killed would be merciful in the end..

yet not a word is spoken about those still waiting. Angry
