Deep down they still blame the Jews for bumping off the Sweet Baby Jesus.

The man Jesus wasn't a 'Christian'.

The Jews of Jesus day, didn't kill the first Christian.

Jesus was a Jewish man.

Christians today, ALL OF US, need to get right with God.

The 'message' didn't change.

Isaiah 55:6
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

The 'message' didn't change, when Jesus came.

Matthew 6:33
.....seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;.....

The 'message' didn't change, when Jesus came.

John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.i Quote:

They want the Jews to kick it off with the Arabs/Muslims/Anybody-will-do so as to start Armageddon.
While they're wiping each other out and the Jews are doing the hard work in the final battle, all the good ol' boys and gals, tucked away safely in the south of the US of A will calmly wait for the Rapture where they will all be happily taken up to Heaven by a very grateful Sweet Baby Jesus and his dad, God - all done without them having so much as getting a hair out of place.

LOL

They, the Christians who have such an expectation, are mistaken - i believe.i
Quote:

The stinking Yids, Muslims and all those other heathens get to suck sh!t and rot in hell for all eternity.

Just the moslems - i believe.

They [the moslems], are going back, were they came from - i believe.

It is all there in the Bible gandalf.

You completely missed the crux of the question Y.

Jews reject jesus as their christ and saviour. Are they not therefore condemned to eternal damnation according to the bible? You can't be "chosen" by God if you are doomed in the afterlife - can you?

No.

gandalf,

He is a God who exercises his discrimination.

"I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high."

Psalms 32:2
Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity,

Isaiah 54:6
For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
7  For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8  In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

Jeremiah 32:36
And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
37  Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
38  And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
39  And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
40  And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.i

Quote:

No.

You cannot.

Best, not to be 'doomed in the afterlife' then!

Acts 10:34
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Ah, but gandalf.

You are a moslem.

In the eyes of Allah, you are perfect already.

A moslem, a man who is blessed by the only god, Allah.

Yes, Y, wouldn't it be luverly?

You know, all those friendly brothers as far away as Indonesia and Malaysia extending a helping hand out to Israel to take in those it hasn't blown up yet. Nice.

Alas, we now have a thing called nation states. I know, it's so mean, but those with real estate, jobs and businesses in Gaza can't just set up shop in Brunei or Turkey or Uzbekistan.

It's tough on everyone. You'd think our Christian brothers in Kenya or Syria or Burma could up and move to a fellow Christian nation like Australia, but no. Instead of letting them move in and giving them a nice new apartment like the one the Israelis blew up, we put them in detention and ship them off to New Guinea.

As ever, I blame Islam. You?

Indeed. Just take a look at Y's map.

Here we were thinking all those various European settlements (the Berlin Conference of 1884, the Balfour Declaration of 1917, the League's various Arab mandates post-WWI) turned Africa and the Middle East into actual colonies and, subsequently, nation states.

But no. In actual fact, Islam is just one big country.

This is big news, G. Do you think Y should tell someone at the UN?

Just a thought.

Jesus was a Jewish man.

Quote:
JESUS WAS NOT A Jew

"Christians have been duped by the unholiest hoax in all history, by so-called Jews. This is considered their most effective weapon."

Many denominational Christians and even church leaders are under the mistaken belief that Jesus was a Jew. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Judea and Galilee were two separate states and political entities, as illustrated on the map of Palestine in the time of our Saviour in your Bible. Jesus Himself was not a Jew (Judean) or resident of Judea, He was a Galilean or resident of Galilee (Matthew 26:69; John 7:41), and a Judahite or descendent of the Tribe of Judah. The Judeans of prominence were not of the Tribe of Judah, but of Edomites. Pilate was being ironic when he wrote the sign "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Judeans" for the Cross (John 19:19). That is, "the Galilean who was King of the Judeans," as in "Queen Victoria of England, Empress of India." Jesus grew up in Nazareth in Galilee. His disciples were fishermen from the Sea of Galilee. And although He visited Jerusalem, he spent most of His life in his home country of Galilee. John 7:1, "After this Jesus stayed in Galilee; for He could not walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him." His followers were constrained "for fear of the Jews" (John 7:13, 19:38, 20:19).

Why was this?

Psalm 83:3 says God's elect are "hidden" or protected ones, and that they are under attack from a coalition of evil groups led by Edom. Who was Edom?

Esau, the brother of the patriarch Jacob, became the ancestor of the people called Edom, or Idumea. The Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus, XIII ix 1; XV vii 9 instructs us: John Hyrcanus forcibly assimilated the Edomites as a national group and they became "Jews" in about 120BC. The Jewish historian Josephus, who lived just after the time of Christ, wrote, "They [Edom] were hereafter no other than Jews'. The Jewish scholar Cecil Roth in his Concise Jewish Encyclopedia (1980) says on page 154, "John Hyrcanus forcibly converted [Edom] to Judaism. From then on they were part of the Jewish people. In the Talmud the name of Edom was applied to Christian Rome, and was then used for Christianity in general".

Jehovah of the Old Testament "hated Esau (Edom), against whom He has indignation forever"  (Malachi 1:2-4). If Jesus will destroy Edom when He returns, then Edom is present today, and obviously evil, anti-Christian, and anti-Semitic.

Christ demonstrated a very real antipathy towards the people called Jews, in Bibles published after about 1776, but who would be more accurately described as Judeans, or residents of the Edomite-dominated territory of Judea. Jesus said to the Jews "You do not believe because you are not of My sheep" (John 10:24-27). "I was only sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel" (Matthew 15:24). In fact, Christ referred to "those Jews (or residents of Judea regardless of religion, race or color) who believed on him," as "of their father the devil" for although they were children of Abraham, they were not children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and heirs of the blessing of Abraham, nor did they have the faith of Abraham, and were in all probability descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Esau (John 8: 31,44). In contrast, Jesus instructed His disciples - who were from Galilee of the Gentiles, not Judea (Acts 1:11; 2:7) - to pray to And in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9, Jesus speaks of "those who say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan".

Quote:
An ancient depiction of Semites traveling to Egypt...

The Semites are, according to the highly authoritative Oxford Universal Dictionary, 1944 (p.1838) are the people belonging to the race of mankind which includes most of the peoples mentioned in Genesis 10 as descended from Shem, one of the three sons of Noah. This includes the Arabs, Hebrews, Assyrians, Arameans as well as other ancient races who spoke a Semitic language as their native tongue. Most people in the world are under the impression that the modern Jew is of Hebrew or Semitic origin, but in reality this belief is unfounded and highly erroneous.

The Jews in modern society have nothing to do with the ancient Hebrews of biblical times. For decades we never thought of even questioning this basic assumption. Actually, it is an historical fact that the vast majority of modern Jewry are not of Semitic stock. They are of Turkish stock—the so-called Khazars. “The Khazars came not from Jordan, but from the Volga, not from Canaan, but from the Caucasus. Genetically they are more related to the Hun, Uigur and Magyar than to the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jakob. The story of the Khazar Empire, as it slowly emerges from the past, begins to look like the most cruel hoax that history has ever perpetrated.” (Arthur Koestler, The Thirteenth Tribe).

response to post #23,

jmjcare,

That is an interesting view of history, and,
of who Jesus the man was NOT, and,
of who the people who call themselves Jews, 'really' are.               Cheesy

jmjcare,

I am happy for you to believe, whatever it is, that you desire to believe.

Matthew 15:24
....[Jesus] said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

John 1:11
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

John 4:9
Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

John 4:22
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

You suggest that Edom is Jewry, that Edom has supplanted Jewry ?

2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his....

But who is a 'Jew', before God ?

Who is a 'Jew', in God's eyes ?

Romans 2:28
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29  But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Jeremiah 9:25
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;
26  Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.

So there was. Sorry I completely forgot we should be basing decisions on who has rights where on 4000 year old kings.

Should I lodge my application for the Philistines' right to the land now? - you know after they were slaughtered and evicted from the land by those same 4000 year old kings?

You can base your decisions like that if you wish, however the Israeli's will only use that knowledge to repeatedly remind others of the Jews strong historical link to the land called Israel.

The Jews evicted from the Muslim countries are happily received by Israel.
The Arabs fleeing the 1947 war, started by other Arabs, are still 'refugees' among their brethren.

Yes, it's a problem isn't it.
Not only is Jordans population 60% Palestinian, only one Palestinian in Jordan lives beyond the razor wire that the Palestinians exist within, and that is the Kings wife ever since the Palestinians tried to overturn via violent means the overthrow of the monarchy in 1970/71.
So more Palestinians turning up in Jordan without a passport will only earn these people a bullet in the belly for their actions.
So yes, it's a problem.
But not an Israeli problem though.
The Lebanese have their Palestinians graze free range, however the Lebanese government will only allow Palestinians very limited employment prospects in Lebanon.
The Iraqis only three years ago cancelled all dual Iraqi/Palestinian passports permanently and don't want any more.
The Egyptians would rather actively assist their 4000 years old blood enemies the Israelis in containing Gazan Palestinians than allowing them to free range in Egypt.
The Palestinians in Saudi Arabia are treated and paid less than third class coolies.
Iran and Syria are quite happy to openly arm and fund Palestinians in Israel so they can continue to attack and kill Jews, but they don't want them within their borders either.
And the Palestinians themselves are happy to kill Jews and die for Allah whilst the promised land is 'occupied' by the Jewish people, and they wont stop until the Jews are driven into the sea.
So yes, there is a problem.
