Israel has generously, it must be said, acceded to another request for a ceasefire.

Frankly, I think it's very generous of Israel to have refrained from turning Gaza into a large hole in the ground after warning the civilians to get out.

But for some reason you think it's really mean for the Palestinians to put lots of little holes in Israel.

Is there a particular school of ethics you follow, Herbie? I say, you're not a Muslim, are you?

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but some would have you people sent back to where you came from.

Personally, I think you people make a marvellous contribution to our rich, multicultural society. So peaceful, so hardworking, such good neighbours. If it was up to me, you'd be welcome to stay for good.

Incredibly stupid, or just plain evil, depending on how you interpret Hamas' objectives.

What's going on with the SS-type executions in areas now under the control of the 'Islamic State' stormtroopers is a graphic reminder to the Israelis of what they can expect if their defences are breached by any of their Islamic neighbours.

'Islamic State' has its origins in Islam.

True, FD, but if Israel does it it’s incredibly smart and just plain good.

That, you see, is Freeedom.

Or Islam. One or the other, anyway.

I think you’ll find "Islamic State" has its origins in the shifting sands and petrodollars of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

He’s cunning, your Arab. Likes to race camels, smoke hubbly bubbly and shop at Harrods.

Still, we don’t blame geopolitics. We blame Islam.

Cunning, no?

Picking a fight you know you are going to loose, over and over again, is a whole other ballpark of stupidity. Yet so many Muslims convince themselves they are on the verge of a grand Islamic military victory. I have even seen them celebrate ceasefires as scaring Israel into submission.

I think that Hamas knows this, but does it to maintain their grip on the internal politics of Gaza.

It has it's origins with Muhammed.

Yes, we used to call it the fight for Freeedom. Now we call it stupidity.

Forgotten Braveheart, have you, FD?

Is that what you think is going to happen in Gaza? Just a few more rockets should do the trick eh?

Muslims and Jews living in Israel have more rights and freedoms than in neighbouring countries run by Muslims, and more than they would if the Palestinians did ever manage to defeat Israel.

What do you think I think? That’s the important thing, FD.

Muslims living in Israel and Gaza don’t have the freeedom to live in their own land. It’s been handed over to foreigners to make suburbs out of.

I’ve never had land, but I imagine that the family farm might be something some think worth fighting for.

It certainly inspired your own ideas about life, liberty and the persuit of wealth, no?

When Muslims fight for 'freedom,' you end up with ISIS.

You don’t think Muslims should have Freeedom?

I thought that was the only argument you’ve posted here since 2007.

Everyone should have freedom, but it takes a special dedication to self delusion to equate Hamas and Braveheart.
