I'm not religious, but I believe in God, just not in the way that is commercially accepted. For instance, I don't believe God has a list of rules that if aren't abided, he will destroy you and send you to the depths of hell. I think it was more of a recommendation or a suggestion on how to live a good life for yourself and was misinterpreted, and possibly twisted for personal gain by some people over the centuries. If we destroy each other and the world we live in for selfish reasons, then we're just losing out and destroying ourselves in the process. I can see many signs for end times, which makes me believe that the end times in the book of revelation of the Christian bible are somewhat true, which I think to be a mixture of scientific and spiritual fact.
1. The destruction of the environment. It is said that a lot of it is a natural phenomenon and the Earth goes through cycles -- icecaps melting, for example. But I think it could be a dual cause, natural and man-made. They could create technology to possibly stop the melting? Correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't heard of anybody doing this. 2. The current wars. 3. The research and advancement into "transhumanism". 4. The growing debt, not only in this country but worldwide, which, if you look at it closely, money is actually being created out of thin air from the banks.
All of what is going on kind of proves that the book of revelation in the bible is a true story.
