BREAKING NEWS - EBOLA SCARE ON GOLD COAST!!!

Breaking news on TV a few moments ago. A man on the Gold Coast who recently returned from West Africa is being treated by Paramedics in protective clothing for potentially Ebola after becoming seriously ill upon his return. Lets hope that if he tests positive for Ebola that authorities are on top of this quickly, as it would be the first confirmed case of Ebola in the West if true.

If you recalled, I asked what abbott was doing to protect Australia from ebola and you joked.

Shame Armpit, Shame.

A seriously ill Southport man has been rushed to the Gold Coast University Hopsital this morning, with fears he may be infected with the deadly Ebola virus.

Paramedics were forced to suit up in protective clothing before transporting the man to hospital.

The man had just returned from The Congo.

The man quite possibly could have been not exhibiting any symptoms when he arrived home and it may not be Ebola. Grow up.

should everyone traveling from Africa be quarantined for 6 months maybe.. to stop the whingeing greens..

I remember years ago when you arrived in Perth from o/seas the cabin was sprayed before the door opened..... then someone complained and it was stopped...I am sure in todays world diseases of all kinds are brought in.. we do our best to keep fruit fly out how dare you bring in food...

however come in with god only kn ows what germs your carrying and thats ok...

you are quite right.. there were a few leprosy cases come into the country via dodgy boats.,... I dont recall a mass call for protection from the govt of the day..I believe we even got the odd TB case as well in those dark days... Roll Eyes

oh well blame abbott..

I think a blanket ban on travel to Africa...
