when did the topic change from Rudd to you?

Probably after "Airbus Abbott" eclipsed Rudd's travel miles for the first year in Office.  To carry him and his tongue around requires a lot of space.  All that licking to do.......

Interesting that this biased right-wing newspaper, the Australian, should publish this story in a straightforward, unslighting way.
Imagine the treatment from the ABC for a similar sort of story on John Howard.

The Australian

Makes you wonder what the standards are...

About Kevin Rudd:

Kevin Rudd served as Australia’s 26th Prime Minister between 2007 and 2010, and subsequently as Australia’s Foreign Minister from 2010 until 2012. He served again as Prime Minister in 2013.

Mr. Rudd was elected as Leader of the Labor Party in 2006 and was only the third Labor leader to win government from opposition since World War II.

As Prime Minister, Mr. Rudd led Australia’s response during the Global Financial Crisis.

Mr. Rudd is internationally recognized as one of the founders of the G20, the premier global economic decision-making institution.
He is recognized as a major driving force behind the 2010 decision to expand the East Asia Summit to include the United States in this important regional institution.

As Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mr. Rudd also oversaw the doubling of Australian foreign aid over five years, making Australia the seventh largest aid donor in the world.

Mr. Rudd remains engaged in major international challenges, including global economic management, the rise of China, and the global challenge of sustainable development.

He was a co-author of the 2012 report of the United Nations Secretary General’s High Level Panel on Global Sustainability, Resilient People, Resilient Planet.

A thinker?????  Rudd????  and even more astonishing... a DOER????  Rudd was almost a decision-free zone and when he did decide things he screwed them up monumentally.   But like most psychopaths, he has a very winning personality.  But the job requires actual thinking and actual doing.  Paulson will regret this quickly!!!

I remember fellow MP's whining about how long it took to get things done because virtually everything had to go through Rudd's office for his approval. Talk about micro-managing!!!

As opposed to going through Credlin???

You said it Sprintcyclist!

Rudd had 'Personality', something many a Political Leader lacked, especially with the MEDIA being such a big influence on Politics itself these days.

Also, I nearly rolled out of my seat in laughter  Grin when I saw the looks of dread upon the faces of the Chinese Leaders when this little nerdy Australian was letting rip in fluent Chinese as if to say "Anything you can do, I can do better!"  Tongue

The only flaw I saw in him was that he had more 'Political' skill, than he had 'Economically' (MONEY MONEY MONEY) - hence why his wife was even richer than him.

...but in Politics - what really is important?
Telling the Truth is, because Religion just 'Writes' it down.

Abbott complained that Rudd never 'shuts up',
but then we have an Abbott that talks like a snail trail as if he's just makes it all up as he goes along.  Roll Eyes
