Thats a bit of a strawman - I don't think there's been any muslims claiming they are not muslim. What we do say though is their behaviour is not islamic - and thats an important distinction. And I also resent the insinuation that we should disguise what we actually believe, and instead come out and say something else entirely - just because its more "strategic". God knows we get enough "taqiyya" bullshit as it is.

A resident Islam critic who claims to represent western values said:
