There is a security fence around that Islamic centre, did the Police charge anyone for the damage?

I have been unable to find any comparable statistics for Islamophobic attacks but I suspect there have been far more. That the media doesn't report them doesn't mean they haven't occurred. They merely fly under the radar in a society where "blame the victim" is the norm it seems, if the reactions here amongst some is anything to go by. Grin

So, you going to condemn Islamophobic attacks Baron or are you going to blame the victim too?

Scott Poynting especially has done some useful research on islamophobic attacks in Australia since 9/11. One of the most significant findings was that attacks are hugely under-reported - primarily because most attacks are directed against women (visibly more identifiable), who are understandably too scared/embarassed to report it.
