Illiza Saaduddin Djamal, the mayor of Banda Aceh, said it was the seventh public caning of people who broke Sharia law since it was enforced in the provincial capital, Banda Aceh, 12 years ago.

Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim nation, has a policy of secularism but allows Aceh to follow a version of the Islamic law which forbids gambling.

The Islamic State advocates the imposition of Sharia Law. In other words, IS acknowledges no division between religion and politics and regards itself as a religious organisation.Currently IS controls large parts of Syria and Iraq.
The KKK was never a Christian church or a Christian organisation. Nor did it even control large parts of the United States. Moreover, the KKK did not claim to be a religion. Rather, the KKK was a secular organisation which advocated discrimination against African-Americans, many of whom were Christians.

Not really a true comparison is it.......the KKK didn't chop people up for not being muslim, and they sure as hell didn't invade countries to spread their poisonous doctrine did they.......they were/are just pathetic racists who abused, and yes sometimes murdered, non-whites, but are they as bad and dangerous as ISIL.........no.
