If someone is so consumed with hate, it's often a sign of an underlying problem with that individual.

I find it quite sad.

Hate is a soul destroying and negative emotion.  We all make our own choices on what we do in life and how we act and react.  Hate just holds you back and is just another branch of fear.  I think it's sad also.

Hate and any acts born of hatred, are actually more harmful to the individual than the person/group/belief/object that they direct said hatred at.
For example, it is time and energy consuming to extend the hatred from inside to the outside world, when the time and energy could have been preserved and used for something good or productive, that can benefit the individual.
For instance, I've noticed things on this forum like people making fake accounts to pull the p!ss out of somebody, or creating threads with "insults" about a person. What a waste of time and energy!! Considering we don't really know each other here, but by username and what we type.

Now, does anyone read ........compassion into those quotes ?

Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers.
Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.
And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. ...

What follows are the words of Jesus (Son of God) according to the Gospel of John 13:34-35

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
