I'm willing to believe the possibility that a person lived 2000 years ago, in which a part of the bible was about him. And I am willing to believe the possibility that about 2000 years ago (thereabouts), that person may well have inspired hundreds of people about his message. Though, what I don't believe is the miracle parts about him, in which the 'witnesses' seemed not to care enough to make use of him. Or that these alleged miracles were so ho-hum miracles, that I don't think it worthy of my attention.

I also would not believe in a person's existence, if evidence came forward that the person was a fraud in a historical context. It isn't as though I really value someone who I haven't met, or who has directly impacted on my life.
