Liberal Porn Ring?
Oct 16th, 2014 at 9:42pm

What's this all about?  Why do these blokes need memory sticks to view porn at work, as a way of getting around some completely stupid rule that work computers are supposed to be used for work and not to directly link to porn?

I mean..........really!  Fancy any Boss expecting a fair day's work for a fair day's pay.  Absurd, isn't it?

Link.

Quote:
It says it can be inferred that he accessed pornography there because in 2001 Mr Coulson “was subject to disciplinary action for downloading a large amount of pornography during work hours and using the resources of his public service employer’’.

But Mr Coulson has told the Herald Sun ... the only material he would have had in his office were memory sticks made available for collection by MPs and advisers to view on their private computers without breaking government IT rules…

“But I believe at least one minister, and MPs, were accessing this material....”

A government source has told the Herald Sun material found in Mr Coulson’s office included animal pornography.

*Yeas, I do know there is more in the Article.............but.......WTF?*

Selling and distributing it is, don't know about watching it though. If the Libs had it on usb sticks and "lent it out" I would consider that distribution. It would probably breach obscenity laws to have it in your possession.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

That article is not credible doctrine.

Politicians don't look at animal porn. They are pure. To think otherwise you'd have to be a tinfoil hat wearer.

How any person with any integrity would even consider porn is beyond me.. but I suppose I - in the words of a past girlfriend - am a Puritan by nature....

sorry........

while you are all acting like non-porn-watching hypocrites, remember that there is only one party who has had MPs and senior staff charged with CHILD porn.   Labor.

So the fact that a major donor to the LNP was jailed in August for raping a kid doesn't bother you?

I think calling it a "porn ring" is perhaps a bit over the top if all they were doing was swapping USBs of some sex videos.

I'm not sure how credible the story is. I would wait for independent corroborating evidence.

I have no problem with this kind of restriction on the use of work computers. A work computer is provided for work purposes. Viewing porn, playing games and the like are not work, and an organisation has every right to set policy to discourage these non-work activities on work computers during working hours.

Another very good reason exists for discouraging this kind of practice. Pornography is commonly used as a disguise for introducing viruses and malware onto computers. If you're going to use your computer to view porn, make damn sure you have very good backups. You will need them.

Bother me?  of course it does. But it is somewhat hypocritical of you labor supporters to have a go at the libs when this was merely a supporters and your side of politics has a long history of MPs being convicted of child sex crimes.  If you want to cheer-lead your side, then this is the worst possible topic to do it on.

Meanwhile in SA, A labor MP is headed to trial on child porn charges....

The moral of the story is: there's dirty bastards in both camps.

Besides, what's wrong with porn? Everyone has needs. I personally find it disgusting, but people with desperate urges think otherwise. It's the animal/child porn part that is disturbing.

the actual moral of the story is that when you have 30 of your own people in jail on child sex offences it would be rather unwise to pick on the party with NONE other than a former donor.

It has nothing to do with needs .... it's purely entertainment ... watching a girl get knocked out by her own 42DD bouncing up and down is great fun  Grin Grin Grin Grin
