Crisis Ebola vs Crisis ISIS/ISLAM
Oct 17th, 2014 at 10:52am

Comparing our perception, of the existential threat to humanity posed by Crisis Ebola vs Crisis ISIS/ISLAM

CASE #1;
ISLAM is a dangerous ideology - which infects the psyche of a human being.

And it is clear, that many persons [particularly our political leaders!] see no immediate threat posed by ISLAM [i.e. they see no immediate physical threat, to themselves, posed by an ideology like ISLAM].
i.e.
We allow moslems to live among us!!!

CASE #2;
Ebola is a dangerous virus/contagion - which infects the physical body of a human being, and which very often causes the death of the physical body.

n.b.
It is clear that our pollies can and will obfuscate the threat posed by ISLAM, and can 'safely' fudge their response(s), to the dangers of the existential threat to humanity [posed by a dangerous ideology like ISLAM].

But note the current panic of activity displayed by world political leaders, in their response to the existential threat to humanity [and themselves!    Smiley  ], posed by Ebola.

It is a wonder to behold.        Grin          Tongue

......the 'workings' of the motivations of men.             Grin

I'd say religion is a dangerous ideology, which poses a threat to our survival.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Yes, Outrage Bus.

An idea [i.e. an ideology], can be a dangerous thing!

An idea, can change your mind!

Job 28:28
.....the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Proverbs 9:6
Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
7  He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
8  Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
9  Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
