Man kills his mother "for God"

Quote:
A mental illness hostel Romily House dealt with a missing clinically insane killer "in a timely and appropriate manner", WA Attorney General Michael Mischin has said - despite the fact a review board was not notified for a day that Enoch Samuel Walsh was unaccounted for.

However, in a statement to Fairfax Media, Mr Mischin said the time it took to alert the public 38-year-old Mr Walsh, who killed his mother in 2005 and failed to return to Romily House in Claremont on Sunday afternoon, was a matter for WA Police.

" As far as I am aware, Mr Walsh's failure to comply with the condition to return to Romily House was dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner but I shall, of course, seek a report on how the situation has been handled once the immediate issue of securing his return to detention is resolved," Mr Mischin said.

"As to the extent to which the public should have been alerted to his alleged breach, that is a matter for the Commissioner of Police. The police are the most experienced and best able to decide how to track down a person in these circumstances.

"I am reluctant to say more due to considerations of confidentiality. Further, we do not yet know the circumstances surrounding Mr Walsh's failure to return to Romily House, a licensed psychiatric facility.

Mr Walsh also known as Samuel Mark Walsh and Enoch Samuel Wright, was last seen on Sunday morning at the Shenton Road hostel, which provides supported accomodation to adults with chronic mental illness

He failed to return to the facility on Sunday
afternoon but the Mentally Impaired Accused Review Board was not notified of this until Monday.

Romily House is not run by the state government but is a private facility similar to a nursing home and can house up to 70 people.

Mr Walsh is thought to be headed towards Kalgoorlie.

A staff member at Romily House told Fairfax Media  Mr Walsh had been "walking the line like you wouldn't believe".

"He's probably a lot better than most," she said,

"He's got a job, he drives a car, he's been absolutely
amazing.

"For the last four years he's not put a foot wrong and now he's going to be punished for something that happened years and years and years ago."

Police have serious concerns for Mr Walsh, as he is a chronically paranoid schizophrenic who requires regular medication. It is believed he does not have his medication with him.

Mr Walsh killed his mother Patricia Lynette Wright during a psychotic episode in Kalgoorlie in 2005 but was acquitted of murder in 2007, after Supreme Court Justice Geoffrey Miller ruled he was not criminally responsible for his actions.

The court heard Walsh believed he was Enoch from the Book of Revelation, who had to condemn those who had committed Godless deeds.

He was sentenced to be detained in a care facility at the discretion of the Mentally Impaired Review Board.

In a statement, a spokesman for the board said it had authorised a leave of absence for Mr Walsh and was notified on Monday that he had failed to return on Sunday.

Mr Walsh is believed to be driving his own car, a 1998 silver Hyundai Excel hatchback (registration) 1AFY124 towards Kalgoorlie and police say he should not be approached under any circumstances.

He is described as being 182 centimetres tall and of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees Mr Walsh should call police immediately on 131 444.

A spokeswoman for Mental Health Minister Helen Morton referred questions from Fairfax Media to the Mentally Impaired Review Board, as they were "operational questions".

The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4. And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai,
⌈And appear from His camp⌉
And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

5. And all shall be smitten with fear
And the Watchers shall quake,
And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

6. And the high mountains shall be shaken,
And the high hills shall be made low,
And shall melt like wax before the flame p. 32

7. And the earth shall be ⌈wholly⌉ rent in sunder,
And all that is upon the earth shall perish,
And there shall be a judgement upon all (men).

8. But with the righteous He will make peace.

And will protect the elect,
And mercy shall be upon them.

And they shall all belong to God,
And they shall be prospered,
And they shall ⌈all⌉ be blessed.

⌈And He will help them all⌉,
And light shall appear unto them,
⌈And He will make peace with them⌉.

9. And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of ⌈His⌉ holy ones
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy ⌈all⌉ the ungodly:

And to convict all flesh
Of all the works ⌈of their ungodliness⌉ which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners ⌈have spoken⌉ against Him.

And contrary-wise - what it is, it wouldn't be.
And what it wouldn't be, it would.

Not that there’s anything wrong with it - if you’re not a Muslim.

Whereas, ISLAM;

Mainstream ISLAM gives legal sanction;

To 'the moslem' 'lawfully' killing any member of his family [e.g. his wife, or a child, or children, OR, his grandchildren!!]. i.e. Any person who is deemed [by 'the moslem'!] to be apostate [a rebel against Allah's religion].

The real difference here is:

Islam allows man to kill man for God.

Christianity/denominations allows God to kill man but man kills man anyway.

Man will always kill man freedumb, religion just makes it easier.

A good man will always try to do good and an evil man can always be relied upon to do evil. But to make a good man do evil things well... then you need religion.

It has been this way for millennium.

he sounds like he has mental problems to me.
He could have as likely said "Elvis told me to do it" and been a trekkie.

I see no justification in the Christian Bible for his behaviour

Mental illness is not a justification either, to me. It's something that is often over-used to make excuses for people and feel sorry for them and be lenient, which is a major part of the problem. The reason why our authorities have trouble controlling terrorists in this country, letting them off the hook when they're caught with weapons, is because of a weakness and too many do-gooders whining and moaning and making excuses for how people are.

This man killed his mother -- the person he's supposed to love and protect. If he had schizophrenia it should have been recognised beforehand. Now he's running around free, off of his meds -- God help the next person who dies for disobeying God's law for he is "Enoch".
