That would leave lefties out in the cold as they are terrified of criticizing islam / terrorism.

Really?

Islam is a ridiculous religion, and all terrorists are barbaric, murdering bastards.

Better?

I agree. STOP THE BOATS.

That should work.

There is if you don't know what you're mocking.

I say, old chap, you do get a chuckle out of that comic. You never tire of posting it.

Apart from it being a jolly wheeze posting the image of Mo, can I ask what it’s actually about?

It’s so boring I’ve never gotten past the third panel.

I appreciate that cartoon. Those ones were all new to me. I am honestly surprised that you don't get it Karnal. Are you just jealous that the guy's humour extends beyond poo jokes?

Anyone want to own up to voting yes in the poll?

But once again, we see FD masterfully steering the discussion into irrelevant minutiae, just to distract from the core issue. Merely mocking people on the basis of religion alone is clearly something that should be sacrosanct under FD ideology, and should be protected at all costs. By rejecting this, the majority of Australians are displaying the very spineless apologetics that FD rails against day in day out (as long as they are muslims or muslim apologists).

So whether it should be illegal to mock or even criticise religion, and your inability to gauge the public mood on such a fundamental issue, is "irrelevant minutiae"? What really matters is me explaining away an endless stream of your absurd little strawmen and accusations of hypocrisy?

Do you still stand by your interpretation of that poll?

Why?  So you can attempt to intimidate them, FD?   Roll Eyes

And before you ask the obvious and stupid question, no, I didn't vote "Yes," nor did I vote, "No."   I rarely bother to vote in the silly polls put here.    Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Thanks Brian. Your honesty is appreciated.

If you did have to make a choice, how would you vote?

Not at all, FD. The crux to a good joke is not poo, it’s conflict. The essence of all drama is conflict.

Two guys in bed reading is hardly a recipe for a plot development. Nor is it visual. I counted 12 frames of the same two chaps in bed.

Hardly surprising the old boy is so fascinated by it. It’s the sort of inscrutable, humourless piece you’d find in Punch.

But here’s a challenge, FD. Tell me why such a mediocre old boy work of art tweaks your funny bone. I’ll reward a good critique.

Fire away.

Give it a go. Take it as a challenge. I’ve set much more boring texts for analysis.

Tell us why you appreciate it.

Good to hear you having a chuckle, FD. We all need to let our hair down once in a while.

Which frame makes you laugh the most?
