If you want to put a price on carbon why not a tax at the bowser?

Perfect place to apply abbott's carbon tax if the money raised went to shifting the economy away from pollution. Abbott's new carbon tax just goes to creating more pollution.

Such a dumbarse he is.

Applying a carbon tax is only effective if there is a low-carbon alternative to encourage people to move to it.  Transport fuel has no alternative, which is why the carbon tax excempted it.

Abbott is basically a puppet to murdoch, propped up by murdoch media.   If Murdoch tires of him, he wont last long.

The buildup of JBitchop continues:

(WARNING—strong stomach needed!)

The photo of JB with her new man shows how badly made the green top she is wearing there is. No class to JB.

Still waiting for a Labor surplus...

Pretty sure, when Labor was looking up big words in "My first word" dictionary, they saw the word Surplus and somehow miss understood the definition, its so hard ready english poor things.

I love the irony of this post.

The signature line underneath makes it even funnier.

"Some people have way to much time on their hands.‬"

I remember seeing a conservative coming to an "R" party dressed as a wrestler . Another dyslexic conservative came to a toga party dressed as a goat.

The money raised could be invested into helping people to upgrade to more fuel efficient models, so helping the the local car manufactures with sales. Oh hang on ... Abbott crushed the auto industry in Australia.

The voters didn't expect the lies from abbott to be so thick and across the board.

If they make the same mistake twice, then they can be called dumb.

Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on me.

Case in point.

The obvious "dumb" thing was your comment - we are in trouble.

Not the multiple lies by the abbott mob after spending the last term in opposition banging on 24/7 about lies.

Abbott has backed himself into a corner. Properly like the way he backed in to corners in that homosexual hotbed he frequented for three years.

The fixed carbon price was about incentive to produce power etc with a lower carbon impact. This was saying to business that it will cost you less to do this more efficiently. So your conclusion is incorrect to a degree.

The carbon price was incentive for polluters to stop being lazy and to take up available low emission options and to be involved in the development of others.

With all the charisma of a house brick and zero policy ambition does anyone think the dimwit will go full term, as much as I dislike him keeping him onboard guarantees a landslide defeat. But getting rid of him displays the same traits that got Labor voted out, it's simply beautiful watching this unfold . It will take nothing short of a miracle for LNP to go another term.

keep him on. The massive implosion of the libbos will makeup for the temporary hardship that we will have to put up with  Wink
