It has always been an issue and Governments have been warned that closing down health services have consequences.....I am sure the Newman Government did not want these deaths to occur but unless Governments of all persuasions put the interests of vulnerable people before saving a few dollars this will continue to happen.....The Governments first job is to protect its citizens not ignore them!!!

what consequences? The average person could care less unless it directly affects them, and no, it has not always been an issue for most. , plenty of space for meth abusers none for the genuine mentally ill.
