Even if Australia tripled its emissions for a year, it still wouldn't equate to anywhere near the output of China or even the US over a few months. Nothing to see here, folks!

GHG pollution has no borders and per head we are much worse polluters than china Sad

Per kilogram we aren't even close, we are a fart in a hurricane by comparison!

By conservatives digging in, it shows the voters that the coalition have an agenda of increasing cost of living pressures through higher electricity prices.

Isn't that what the now-dead carbon tax was supposed to do? Drive up electricity and gas prices in the hope we'd use them less and in doing so, pollute the environment less?

No. Carbon pricing is a market mechanism used to shift economies to low polluting energy.

It's hard to drive up renewable energy via a carbon levy since there is little carbon pollution.

Also renewable energy is cheaper than coal and gas in Australia. The carbon levy is a tool that would unlock this cheap power to households and businesses instead of locking in expensive coal energy and making Australia uncompetitive.

And lib lab must set a 30% cut target by 2030 so to be in step with US and China and have the policies to attained this. Real policies, not their pretend policies.

And The Greens must explain why they fight efficient green energy all the way in favour of Coal not election advertising against The Greens!

Greens will probably set a zero emission target for Australia by 2050. That will blow your spin out of the water matey.

oh, it'll probably be a -500% target.

There is no probably, not in even in your reply, about the Greens full on opposition to efficient green energy, out of fear to Coal advertising come election time!

Why would Greens fear Liberal and Labor coal lobby donations to their parties drying up.

And as for the coal lobby trying to manipulate voters into voting against their best interests, you obviously think voters are stupid.

Unaware The Greens taking Coal donations until your post!

Not think voters are stupid just know The Greens are parasites and cunning as a shithouse rat!

No - plenty to see here folks.

We see Abbott being made to look a total goose.  True - most people already knew that - but now even his pathetic fan-boys like you are forced to face it too.

Australia cannot go to Paris 2015 with this idiot still in power.  The nation would be an absolute laughing stock.  Tonys days are numbered

Always an excuse never any substance.

For years now Abbott and the pollution party have been saying that we will take action as soon as America and China do something.

Well fella's its time.
