Shorten strategy of saying nothing
Nov 15th, 2014 at 10:04am

It has worked so far, you cant deny that for now Shorten has said nothing about repairing the deficit that labor has left behind but seems happy to extend it more, and build more debt and let some future government way way way down the road to deal with that.

It also seems that bill shorten would also say nothing to help pursue justice for the 38 australian victims of that malaysian plane shot down, I guess Obamas failures must have been an influence on him. because thats exactly a part of obamas many stragedies in dealing with world affairs.

Come election time, BILL SHORTEN IS GOING TO HAVE TO OPEN HIS MOUTH AND SAY SOMETHING,  Cheesy

But world economic leaders have said a lot about Labor saving Australia from the GFC..the proof is the mess Abbott is making with his austerity measures..

Lets face it...Australia has gone backwards with Abbotts unnecessary austerity policies

Shorten won't even have to say anything then.

They'll just reply Abbott endlessly banging on about broken trust re Gillards CT & then reply Abbotts No Cuts interview followed by the quite substantial list of Abbott breaches of trust.

At the same time in the last election campaign, five days before polling day, Julia Gillard made the fateful declaration: “There will be no carbon tax under the government I lead”.
She said one thing before the election to win votes – and did the opposite after the election to stay in the Lodge.
Labor can’t be trusted to tell the truth and it can’t be trusted to manage the economy – and the carbon tax is where Labor’s economic deficit and Labor’s trust deficit coincide.

All 61 Medicare Locals will now be scrapped and replaced with new local health networks.

The Treasurer confirmed a deficit levy would be imposed on people who earn incomes over $180,000.

Tuesday's budget confirmed age and disability pensions will fall behind wages growth from 2017 after they are instead linked to inflation.

Oh And before you go on the predictable "But Labor Left" train, Tony's covered that as well

Quote:
Consider Abbott's words just weeks before an election in which he was already sailing to victory. During one of a million election doorstops a reporter asked him: ''The condition of the budget will not be an excuse for breaking promises?''

''Exactly right'' the punchy opposition leader fired back. ''We will keep our commitments that we make …'' he went on to say for the umpteenth time in the campaign.

No concrete evidence it was Russia shot down MH017 so let us not start blaming left right and centre.
