[quote author=oioiozzy link=1416183169/24#24 date=1416397559]It only dawned on me the other day, certain numbers and the power of those numbers.
Australia's population is what ? 23 ~ 24 million, let's round it up to 25 million
China eclipses, they in the 1.3 billion range
BILLION Vs MILLION
Took me a while to let that sink in from another perspective, and that is, the BILLION don't give a dam rats razoo of "working class man", or "working class hero" or western thinking, or, "it's Friday, just got paid and off the the pub"
They now own the pub ?
See what I'm saying here ?
The weight of BILLIONS of people know one thing and one thing only, survive = the need to eat.
Australia had it good, no job and you really don't go hungry if ya manage ya dole money right, truly. Take out the cigs and beer money and one can just survive by doing nothing for 2 weeks, you will eat, even if it's the street workers free pie night.
But in BILLION PEOPLE LAND, it gets to a critical mass where they either kill each other off, or use their brains and conquer or perish.
But I did see something else on TV. Pollution in the form of smog. They might have "stolen" our manufacturing etc etc, but the smog, if they smog themselves too much, they won't be able to breath or remain healthy to do what we used to do.
Will this them make BILLION POPULATION Team to MILLION ?
Will we, ( our future generations - plural ) get to a point they got to and the need to survive will steal their jobs back, what once what Australia's ?
When Australia's population reaches 30 MILLION, it may be interesting times, cos 30 MILLION will need to eat/survive and where is the dole money going to come from by that time.
I have done complaining, it's no use. Aboot, or ANY elected PM no matter what party, is going to get the Silver foreign interests "$carrot$ shoved right up where it don't fit sideways, and more.
Unless, unless a true statesman fronts up and send it back and it won't be a boomerang.
It's going to take time, and some suffering before next generation Aussie wakes up.
