Another fool loses his head in Syria

Whats with these aid workers?, why would anyone go to Syria of all places to help out, would be akin to going out in the back yard and making sure all the cockroaches are alright wouldn't it?  Grin

well I guess that why you are not in Tibet and Peter was in Syria..he had the heart of a true humanitarian..

lets not forget Peter wasnt the only one killed..quite a few Syrian soldiers were beheaded as well...this isnt a level war zone they do not take prisoners..

.we seem to have more killing fields now than ever before...each one becoming worse than the last....

Kindness can kill, obviously some of these "humanitarians"  have an over active compassion lobe, Peter would have probably liked to show compassion by flooding his own country with muslim refugees too, then there would be the associated terrorism, rapes, crime, mass unemployment, sharia etc etc etc.
Shove yer compassion up yer arse I reckon  Grin

This simple statement sums up the Middle East. If people think they can change it, they join not only George W. Bush, but also all the do-gooders produced by Western Humanism; a noble perspective perhaps in the West which has had its political, philosophical, and economic revolutions. So, while these latest beheadings are disgusting, nothing has changed in Islam to make me think Muzzlims are learning to adopt tolerance from aid workers or other Western sources.

There is another item of Western conceit involved. It is most obvious in those leaders and journalists who take it upon themselves to decide who is and who is not a real Muzzlim. As with all religions there are those who merely pay lip service to faith. Those are the moderates.

Fanatical Muzzlim head-hunters have every right to point out the failings of their moderate brothers. I might agree with them on that point, but as for examples of humanity, I would not piss on them if they were on fire.

Thats the choice he took and everybody knows syria is in turmoil and he should of took precautions.

Assuming he probabaly got into syria from two routes, either turkey or lebanon, the guy ignored thousands of syrian refugees in those countries. Probabaly drove past them and did jack but wanted to go syria to help the people.

I agree with the sentiments here - but it is still a foolish thing to see others chopped and assume that you will somehow be protected.

Poor guy doesn't even get the 72 virgins plus discount for volume of current applicants....

I thought Western nations had decreed 'no entry' to war zones for citizens....

Oh - it's not enforced - just a warning... oh, well...
