Australia is too GUTLESS to openly admit that 'Yellow' Asia is CASHING IN successfully.

Australia produces a QUALITY product that costs $800 to manufacture, etc.
It sells for $1300 to cover all 'Profit' margins of those involved right up to the Retailer.

Yellow Asia makes a LESS-QUALITY product for the cost of $300 and yet sells on the Australian Market for $1100 to 'under-cut' the Australian Product.

...the BIG QUESTION is: Is this far inferior Product worth the Profit Margin of $1100?

This is where EVERYTHING 'Made in China' so to speak and other LESS QUALITY products (like Oranges) are CASHING IN on Australia's HIGH QUALITY-HIGH PRICE Market of Products.

Besides 'deceiving' Customers who think that the 'slightly' cheaper Asian product would be a better 'cost efficient' alternative to buying the Australian version ...they take it home and after just a year (just after Warranty, etc  ) the Customer realises that they had really bought a Product that is in reality - worth only $500 !!! 

Would you have bought the $500 version, knowing the 'difference' in Price is a reflection of its QUALITY, or lack of !?

Australian QUALITY is being compromised by far-inferior efforts from overseas.

Have you been sacked for a slightly cheaper Asian Worker?
Knowing that you have been sacked for not being 'slightly' better than the Import !

I'm not RACIST: I love Black & Yellow ...Australians.
I just hate the 'Foreign' ones ...even the White ones.  Yellow 'Australians' do not work like Yellow Asians ...well, it doesn't take 5 of them to change a lightbulb ! 

So how long will this SCAM continue?

Rather than blame Asia exclusively you need to look at the greedy middle men and landlords in Australia that have been milking the consumer and local manufacturers for years. It is the likes of Harvey Norman and co which expected local suppliers to dance to his greedy tunes until they went broke. Then the greedy sod went scouring over to Asia to get stuff made on the cheap whilst keeping the same retail price. Most of the retail price is gerry and his greedy landlords take. The manufacturer in china doesn't make a lot on the deal.

We the consumer woke up to these scammers and their 100-1000% markups and decided to buy direct and the chinese are quite happy to oblige whether its joe battler or Gerry Greed.
