There were 2 different issues being addressed. One was about attacking the messenger - the other was about a little more curtailment of abuse generally.

We all have issues sometimes with people on forums - whether they're female or male. I've had some problems with female members at times - as they've had with me - including you, but most of us move on. Grudges aren't held onto forever. Don't take a cat-fight between 2 females too seriously. They're usually over and done with very quickly.

This whole thread is a testament to the fact that moderators have been asleep at the wheel, to the detriment of those members who are sick of having to play patty-cake with a small coterie of juvenile idiots whose only purpose in coming here is to graffiti other's efforts.

John Smith admitted he pops in and out of his office all day long to check out the posts here, and what this tells anyone who has even a passing acquaintance with John's contributions here ~ his visits are all about taking brief swipes at posters before then leaving the office again.

You've got a goddamn hide to give mantra a serve, when you yourself are part of the reason this thread is running to so many pages. You're lucky I'm not in charge here or I'd have you on suspension for dereliction of duty as a moderator.

It's hard to please everyone. Forums are either over-moderated or under-moderated. Very few have a perfect balance.

People tend to leave a forum if it is over-moderated and it quickly becomes a wasteland. On the other hand, they tend to hang around and voice their displeasure if the moderation appears light handed. No win either way.

It wouldn't hurt (and would possibly help) if some degree of information is expressed to the members if and when action is taken against serial pests. Names don't have to be mentioned.
