The average age of Australian women having their first child is almost 30.

It then becomes a vicious cycle - couples spend all that time childless, living the good life, that by the time they get round to having a child they think "hang on, I'm not prepared to forego this lifestyle" - and either only have one or two kids at most - and frequently, none at all. A hell of a lot of couples these days prefer pets than children.

I am saying there is a risk that the money will end up funding terrorism.

Like I said, you are automatically jumping to the conclusion that a case of misusing government funds represents a terrorist threat - with absolutely no evidence, and by an organization that has no known links to terrorists.

If you really can't understand what a ridiculous leap in logic that is, I'm not going to waste my time trying to explaining it to you.

Are you prepared to say that there is absolutely no risk of money from these organisations ending up in the hands of terrorists? Otherwise you are making the same leaps that I am.

No FD I'm not.

Just as I'm not prepared to say there's no risk of money from these organisations ending up in the hands of Marley Cyrus or a sinister organisation of kitten killers.

Yet all three are equally absurd suggestions without any shred of evidence.

It is to the people who are terrified about being outbred by big bad muslims (but of course we mustn't call it 'islamophobia' - nah they're not scared of anything  Cheesy)

Riiiiiggggghhhhtttt.  Absurd is the word.  In your world, the balance of probabilities that the risk of islamic charities disbursing monies to fund terrorism is exactly the same as that of an islamic charity disbursing funds to aid a sinister organisation of kitten killers.

There comes a time in a defence when you can reach peak idiocy, I would suggest you have well surpassed that and set the bar to to peak idiocy extremely high.

There is I suppose wiggle room in your definition of terrorism, you might not for example consider Hezbollah or Hamas or the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organisations.

But by a bald reading of your statement it does appear that you have lost your brains in your devoted attention to defending all and every aspect of your faith including peripheral aspects like funding.

It is irrational to state that a misuse of government funds represents a terrorist threat without any shred of evidence. Thats all there is to it.

But of course even this line of attack by FD is an exercise in dishonesty. Previously he stated as fact that it was going to terrorists - not merely representing a  "risk" or "threat".

It has happened in other countries, why not here. I think it would be naïve of you, even childish to suggest otherwise!

Look what happens when bikie gangs want money laundered by the muslim gangs.

So there is a risk, but we must turn a blind eye to it, out of a duty to political correctness?

Are you saying that there is an equal liklihood of money given to Muslim organisations ending up with terrorists, 'Marley' Cyrus and kitten killers?

It's odd that this is the same Muslim who was willing to declare an epidemic of child marriages among the Muslim community based on one newspaper article, and who often portrays himself as an Islamic reformer. For some reason talking about the money hits a bit of a nerve.

We currently have about 100 Australian Muslims overseas fighting for various terrorist organisations, and about another hundred or so who want to give up their lives for the cause but were stopped by authorities (who made the absurd logical leap of linking Muslims traveling overseas with a risk of terrorism). But it is inconceivable to a good Muslim that these Muslims (or some of the many more who are sympathetic to the cause but not to the extent of wanting to die) might send money overseas for the cause or even work their way into Islamic charities or mislead Islamic organisations in order to do so.

I think it is Islamophobic to suggest it without evidence.  Where is the evidence?  I've asked several times, HB has asked several times, Gandalf has asked several times and there has been no evidence produced.   Roll Eyes

Low birth rates aren't much to do with Feminism.  It's primarily to do with the rising aspirations of households.  Women go out to work to support the household's view that they need the biggest and latest TV/Fridge/Dishwasher/etc.  So they have less time to devote to child care and so lower birthrates result.   Thats why immigrant birthrates fall dramatically after their arrival in modern, western societies.  Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

zis is an interesting view point and indicative dat feminism iz a symtom not de cauze.

However,  I am alvays suspicious of dee mainstream narative since universities and dee sciences have been taken over by Politicals.

so I will leave my mind open until I have proof one way or dee other.

I have an idea.

firstly we segragate an area in dee country and block dem from consumer goods.

den we segragate another area where no political propaganda making out motherhood to be despicable and instead offer great prestige for motherhood.

I saw a documentry wiz a hassidic family and the woman had 18 children. Because she is in a separate culture which praises motherhood. The husband was no tyrant and a very nice and good man. It was obvious she vas dee dominant party.  Cool

"The term “Islamophobia” was coined a just over a century ago. The first recorded use of the word was in 1912, in French (“l’islamophobie”)[7], and it reappeared occasionally in the 1920s and later in the century. Its original sense referred to a fear among modernized Muslims of the traditional forms of Islam, rather than an attitude towards Islam held by non-Muslims.[8]"

Does your definition differ from the original Brian?

If so how are you authorised to make such changes, is it because of your academic background?
