The Q Society
Dec 5th, 2014 at 11:30am

Advertising itself as "Islam critical", the Q Society is more Islamophobic.

Quote:
the organisation is responsible for hate-mongering against all Muslims and for fomenting social division in previously tolerant communities [22] Left-wing commentators have referred to the Q Society as an modern example of 'organised intolerance' [23] Citing the view that most Muslims have integrated successfully in Australian society, critics suggest the activities of a comparatively small number of radicals and militants should not give rise to a blanket denunciation of the Islamic religion and Muslims generally.

The organisation has recently been linked to a controversial proposal to construct a $3 million mosque and Islamic community centre in the rural Victorian centre of Bendigo.[24] Opponents of the mosque displayed anti-mosque information produced by Q Society at a meeting of the Bendigo City Council. [25] State MP Jacinta Allan described the move as an attempt to divide the community, stating that "Bendigo has a proud history of tolerance and diversity dating back to the gold rush era, and we'll work hard to preserve and build upon it."[24]

They have paraded the usual international critics of Islam and Muslims through Australia, including Girt Wilders.  They recently held a conference earlier this year.  I wonder though, if they allowed anti-Islamophobic speakers to speak?  One suspects not.   Such organisations tend to be insular and inward looking, rather than real forums for the exchange of ideas.    Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

The Q society is brilliant, they are up every muslim extremists nose. Every description of islam is spot on. They are certainly not scared of muslims or islamophobic far from it. Socks like old brain wave here clearly don't have the intellect to know the difference. To this silly little pretend muslim apologist everyone is islamophobic, it makes him sleep better at night in his hi-jab and win all those online debates.

I assume for an Islamophobe like you, anybody who disagrees with you is characterised as an "Islamic Extremist"?

Are you or have you ever been a member of the Q Society, Matty?    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

Why would everybody that disagrees with me be an Islamic Extremist, you seem a bit slow for a pretend islamic supporter?

Nope never been a member of the Q society but have read their material about the islamic ideology and its spot on.

Everyone should read their material and learn something.

Correct.

They are an active part of The Fight Back to arrest Australia's gradual move towards accepting Islam's medieval values system as a legitimate alternative for the mainstream to aspire to in future generations.

Repeated use of artificially concocted shame-words like 'Islamophobia' are beginning to lose their bite.

Do those who use the word 'Islamophobic' like a nailed cudgel against anyone who is not sympathetic to Islam ever accuse Muslim women who wear the hijab, the niqab, and the burqa as being secularphobic?

And there's the hypocrisy and the double standard, right there.

The Q Society really are a sorry lot, like all Islamophobes.  They have an irrational fear of anything they don't understand.  Whats the betting the members used to vote PHONy?   Roll Eyes

Ah, Brian.

So gandalf persuaded you to abandon that Hot Breath sock of yours at least for this thread?

"They have an irrational fear of anything they don't understand". [/quote]

But that's just the point, Brian ~ they do 'understand'. They understand only too well ~ just like most of ours and Britain's politicians do who otherwise refuse to wreck their political careers upon the rocks of 'Muslim Community' ire.

Q Society

Q Society YouTube

There's nothing wrong with a group of Australians getting together to inform the public about the bits of Islam that the ordinary media are too scared to publish for fear of losing their licence.

If they're telling lies ~ then take them to court and then jail them.

But if they're doing nothing but giving the rest of us a much-needed education as to the real nature of Islam and our immigrant Muslim Community ~ then all hail to them.

Going on about 'Islamophobia' and 'Islamophobes' is baby-talk, Brian.

Have a little more self-respect and argue the issues rather than pasting large soggy labels onto what you obviously have no cogent answer to.

As long as Australia doesn't move towards accepting Aunt Herbie's medieval values, we should be OK.

Islamophobe

Why is it irrational to oppose and hate sharia - the essence of Islamic rule?

Parroting this silly 'Islamophobe' line is like parroting Naziphobia or Commiephobia or Theocracyphobia. There is nothing irrational about opposing these ideologies. Treating them as benign  - which is what you and Brain do - is the irrational stance.

You both suffer from Reasonophobia.

*YAWN*.  HB is a separate person, Herbie.  If you have any evidence to prove otherwise, present it to the moderators.    Roll Eyes

*YAWN*  Boring, Herbie.   The Q Society are ultimately, like you, Xenophobes.

Perhaps you should join?   I'm sure you'd like to be amongst like minded individuals for a change, rather than casting your pearls of wisdom amongst us?

*YAWN* you mean the irrational, Islamophobe propaganda they claim?   Roll Eyes

They may have to be careful now that Section 18(c) is still in force, Herbie.

You don't need to be educated any more in your prejudices, Herbie

No it accurately identifies their and your point of view, Herbie.  If it unsetlles you, then perhaps you need to change your argument?  Roll Eyes

Herbie, unless we correctly identify what you and they are saying, we cannot discuss it, now can we?   Roll Eyes

Anyone who disagrees with the idea of Islam as a peaceful religion is promoting violence.

So there!

No, they aren't, Lionel.  The problem is, the Islamophobes do not qualify or couch their language in a way that isn't deliberately offensive.   If they did, then it might be possible to believe they are discussing the topic seriously and without hatred.

Its not only about what is said as much as about how it is said.    Roll Eyes

You mean hate something you know absolutely nothing about?

Oh, nothing, old boy. I do it all the time. It’s completely rational.

Grin

Know nothing about. Right.

Islam has been lecturing us as to its nature since at least 9/11, and is now in the process of giving graphic demonstrations of its more 'proactive' ideology from various parts of Syria and Iraq.

Needless to say Karnal knows what 'it's all about' ~ but this arcane knowledge is too deep and too academically complex for the rest of us mere mortals to have even the vaguest of understanding.

Karnal walks among us as an intellectual giant among Lilliputians.
