I'm more interested in trying to analyse the events.... and find answers.
This would never have happened if a 'liberal-progressive' Leftwing-luvvie of a 'New Age' judge hadn't released him back into the community on bail despite a string of serious charges against him.
"Iranian cleric Man Haron Monis is the man police believe was behind the siege at the Lindt Chocolate Cafe in Sydney's Martin Place.
Monis, who was granted political asylum in Australia, was on bail for a string of violent offences, including being an accessory to the murder of his ex-wife.
He was also facing more than 40 sexual and indecent assault charges and had a conviction for sending offensive letters to families of deceased Australian soldiers".
It's obvious that those in charge of protecting the public's safety from delinquent Muslims are more concerned with appeasing those who pose a risk than locking them up.
This Muslim was granted political asylum, and then proceeded to write 'offensive letters' to the families of deceased Australian soldiers.
The judges didn't jail him.
The government didn't deport him.
Conclusion: In no way are the authorities taking the threat of terrorism seriously.
It's impossible to reconcile the 'Hands-Off' attitude of the government and the courts towards this fellow, and assurances that they're "Doing all we can to ensure public safety".
Two innocent people have died because the criminal court didn't do it's job by jailing this loose cannon, and the Minister for Immigration didn't have him deported after he was caught sending cruel letters to the relatives of deceased soldiers.
I hope the families of the two deceased sue the balls off the government and the judiciary for their criminal negligence in not dealing properly with this Muslim at the time he first showed himself to be an Islamic wacko.
We're going to hear a lot of soft-cock apologist platitudes about "Let's not play the blame game".
It's precisely what needs to be done if lessons are to be learnt from this.
If an American pitbull terrier that has a history of aggressive actions against people is still allowed to wander the streets as a menace and a potential danger to public safety, then of course the magistrate or judge is wholly responsible for what may then occur.
And in this case, even the government knew of this nutter's potential to become a lethal problem at some future time[/quote]
how amazing is this......he has an awful history no doubt about that...but I am still wondering what was this all about...what were his demands...????....
my sympathy goes to the families who lost someone in this ordeal....and how those who escaped from it will recover I have no idea.just what has this achieved????????
