Paradise Lost - Australia will never be the same.

Already 'Sheik' Man Haron Monis is being labelled as a lone rogue. This may be the case however ISIS has called for an International Jihadist against Western Countries in particular. This is now living evidence that this is happening.

Australia must reflect heavily on this tragedy and decide just how we are going to approach the Muslim problem and it is a hugely growing problem.

My heart goes out to the relatives to all who were involved in this siege and to the families of those who were brutally murdered.

The cops who went in, were incredibly brave, straight into the line of fire, God bless them all.

I'll go with the cops being incredibly stupid and dumb.  a single head shot was possible twelve hours earlier.    the ROE need to change such that if you take hostages and you are armed that you  forfeit your right to live and lethal force will be used at the FIRST opportunity.  if they had done that there would be no innocent deaths.  and all this has doen is shown other muslim nutters that police wont shoot first.  next time, SHOOT FIRST.

perhaps the FBI needs to send its HRT quad down here to teach our police commanders that having trained snipers is no use if you don't actually use them.

pitiful police response.

Once a gunman has hostages captive, it must be a hard place for the gunman to extract himself from.

Sniper headshot after a while negotiating must come into the equation for the poice.

?

what?  you are questioning that they were murdered??

I've seen no confirmation of who killed them.

Were they killed by the police, or the terrorist?

"It is not clear if the two hostages who died, a man aged 34 and a woman aged 38, were shot by the gunman or killed in the crossfire."

If the police killed them, I wouldn't call it murder.

They certainly acted poorly, but calling them murderers is going a bit too far.

words fail to express the disgust I feel for someone like you that lacks the compassion and the decency that most other people take as granted.  You question everything, believe nothing (except your own opinion) and like Aussie, care for no one unless it is in your advantage to do so.

You are a pitiful creature.

Are you calling the police murderers?

The links to Israel must be investigated.

Mossad has many Iranian agents.

Quote:

What kind of name is "Man Monis" anyway? Sound Muslim or Jewish?

Abbott promised no tax hikes & no cuts to the ABC

There's a 'budget emergency', so we will give $9 billion to the Reserve Bank, spend $12 billion on some dubious jets, $2 billion to bomb Iraq, etc.

It looks that critical level of Muslim population has been reached what jeopardize security in Australia.

To overcome this problem the authorities should start deporting Muslims to Saudi Arabia and allow strictly non Muslim migration.

For as long as the governments of the UK and Australia ignore the information passed on to them from their secret service agencies about those Muslims who have demonstrated themselves to be radicals and extremists in their speech and their attendance at firebrand mosques ~ these events will continue to happen.

Any Muslim who is identified as espousing extremist views should be summarily deported without appeal or recourse to delaying tactics.

Simply escorted onto a plane and released back to the country they identify with as their ancestral seat.

The murderers of Lee Rigby in London were well known to MI5 as hothead radicals ~ but they weren't simply picked up and deported as undesirables.

The 'do-nothing' attitude of the Political Left predominated, and so poor Lee paid the penalty for their political cowardice.

hear hear they would have been exhausted ....

well done boys...you made me proud...

lets hope when next Abbott wants a conference on security in this country... all those Muslim leaders who thought it singled out muslims so therefore was unacceptable may now come to the table...

this has done more harm to Muslims.. than putting real culprits in prison will ever do..... surely even they can see that...

this man by the look of his record should have been in jail...but because of the constant backlash we are afraid to do that....

....and that is what we in Australia, need to show understanding towards and not let this create more fear and backlash against a whole muslim community, and therein  is where the Govt and laws in Australia, need to change, to rectify, since this lone wolf/nutter was known about, yet was allowed to walk among the rest of us, freely??? Why???

Sad news to wake up to, hearing of those innocents (presumably) caught in the crossfire and died.

My heart goes out to their families.

There may be a division in the way Australians think, some will have more fear and hatred towards the Muslims as a whole, and others will be more supportive.

I have decided to be more supportive, and after reading this below, this is what the pride of Australia is really about, and we can show the world we will not be dictated by fear.
