My standards have slipped but they were very tasty.
I just wanted some junk food tonight:

sausage roll and spring rolls -
they were frozen and were easily cooked in my oven.  Smiley

Have you ever heard of presentation? Making the plate look a million dollars?

For that matter, why not buy some decent crockery?

Tonight I had a chicken curry with Basmati rice.

I am just pointing out that you eat appalling food slopped onto a plate with no idea of presentation.

Yes I had an early dinner today -
is there anything wrong with that?

I have good food.
As for sausage rolls -
I hadn't eaten any for many years.
The gourmet ones were very nice indeed.

Greggy,
you have an overactive imagination - a bit like UnSubRocky.     Embarrassed

Dinner tonight -

Curried hard boiled eggs with a sauce made from:
half a tin of tomatoes, onion and Portobello mushrooms.
I used one level tea spoon of Keen's curry powder.
https://www.coles.com.au/product/keens-curry-powder-120g-165022
I used Basmati rice.
It was very nice indeed.

A teaspoon of Keens does not make a curry. It'd barely make a curried egg sammich. Not to be all negative, you have posted some nice meals in the past.

So the curried eggs are not enough for you?

I don't like anything with too much curry as it masks the flavor of the ingredients.

The salmon was rolled in flour before cooking.
