This will be the work of Mattywisk/jackmountain who probably (very justifiably) got the Royal Order of the Boot last night. They probably use proxy IPs to get around bans imposed on them.

I reckon FD ought implement a Policy of not allowing new Members registration here if:

(a) They have registered with an obviously dodgy email address,

(b) And use a proxy IP to Post

That would, I believe, receive wide spread Member support.

If I was Freediver I would

1 Setup the forum so all new members had to bee manually approved.

2. Check the IP adresses of all new members
a) Against current members list for possible trolls
b) For country of origin for possible hackers etc

Most forum software either have facilities built in to to do the above or mods to do it.

Another feature that is often linked to forums is Project Honeypot to identify dodgy ips

Anyway just saying.

Not loading at all, and when I tried going back to Forum page it was very slow.
So slow I logged out and then logged in again.

General slowness across the Forum.

Am going to give it a rest for a while....
