Food and the Holidays: am glad it is almost over
Dec 29th, 2014 at 4:18am

I am always glad when the holidays end because I can go back to a way of eating that works for me:  usually one meal a day that is nutrient dense.  I simply don't feel as good when I am forced to eat, well, more mainstream.

I wish I could find a sensible way of eating that melts the fat...

I have more or less done this most of my life.  I eat when I feel hungry and stop when I feel satisfied.

I eat when I am hungry not when the clock dictates that it is time to eat.  I am not much of a breakfast eater either as I find it hard to eat anything until I have been up and about for awhile.

Best to eat like a carnivore than an herbivore which means fast and feast, fast and feast, fast and feast ...

I can't do this, but I'm doing it anyway.

Tis the season to be jolly folks...

For a couple of weeks a year...who cares?

If you are with your extended families just wine and dine without the guilt...
You just need to know when to stop gouging yourself...

If you want to burn some excess baggage come up to the Grampians with me...

I've climbed Mt Sturgeon, followed by Mt Abrupt, then Mt Piccaninny tomorrow ...

After that im organising a three day hike up to Mt Williams. 1167 meters in Height! !!, 12.7ks..down to Jimmy Creek 13ks  then a 15 kilometer last leg back to the start point... all up 40.7 kilometres  Smiley

top of Mt Sturgeon..

...

looking across at Mt Abrupt which I climbed this morning in treacherous conditions of howling winds across the saddles of the peaks with stinging rain as the winds were blowing so hard... I slipped and fell down twice bending my hiking stick...  Cry

...

near the top of Mt Abrupt...
nothing to see here folks..

You are obviously very fit.  I am not keen on heights so I might pass this time around.

More pics would be nice though.  Love the pics   Smiley

What hysterical garbage.

No one forces me to eat; I know that.

There is a bowl of hummus in the fridge that I made yesterday afternoon.  It is talking to me and trying to get me to eat it   Roll Eyes
