I love nothing more than a hearty soup and a crusty bread roll. Mmmm mmmm. Great pics Mechanic.
I don't eat junk takeaway ie Maccas, KFC and the like. I think it not only affects your physical health but your mental health as well.
I don't mind a bit of KFC or Macca's ... once a week on a Saturday night we get takeaway which is usually KFC... I have
one box of chips and
one chicken Rib piece (the least fattiest and nicest, just ask for it)
mind you, I could eat a TON of KFC if I just went nutz..
but there's no ifs or buts... if you are going to get takeaway that once a week then its only in moderation.. and I tell you what.. you enjoy it immensely.. if you stuff yourself stupid, you only end up feeling full, bloated and as guilty as hell...
my mum and her sister have type 2 diabetes and all they do is talk about it non stop...
then you'll have lunch with them and after that... out comes the icecreams.... every time!!!
they have all day and nothing to do... complain that they have nothing to do.. but then they wont cook healthy meals... I don't like cooking... like wth
you can cook healthy and smart like I have shown in other threads.. cook for the week.. its cheap and healthy... use the "one cup" rule...
I gave mum a bit of a touchup about this obsession with diabetes last time she was here as im sick to death of hearing about it when she's doing NOTHING about it...
then at xmas time - all my family were sitting around and the subject of diabetes came up...
then mum yells out from the back of the marquee - "IM NOT ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT DIABETES WHILE ANDREW'S AROUND!!"
for someone who is deaf and can't hear anything suddenly found her hearing... still a sore point about the talking to I gave her like 6 weeks ago..
