Charlie Hebdo is a satirical magazine. Satire has existed for centuries, and includes cartoons which satirise all religions, political  parties, business organisations, banking, in fact just about anything. If every person, religion, political  party, etc etc decided they were going to murder the purveyors of this satire, there would be very many more people slaughtered in many more countries because they believe in Freedom of The Press and Freedom of Speech. To allow any mob of bullies, through fear of retribution, to stop this would be as Neville Chamberlain tried to do in the late 30s, appease a dictator. Whether they are MUSLIMS or not is besides the point, but the result in everybody succumbing to the dictates of murdering lunatics is not what two WW were fought for.

I am talking about a REASON as you even say AN EXCUSE.....why GIVE MADMEN AND EXCUSE???????

They're mad men, as you say, and that's the problem.

They'll always find an excuse for their actions: they're crazy!

Take away the cartoons, and they'll blame movies, or books, or comedians, or anything else that offends them.

Take away Islam, and they'll still find an excuse for their violence.

How much are we willing to sacrifice in order to appease these mad men?
