Islam looks progressive compared to this misogyny

Israeli newspapers replace women in Paris March with photo-shopped-men. Apparently their belief is that pictures of women violates female modesty.

Islam appears hip, progressive and modern in comparison to Israel's black hat society.

Depends what you call progressive I suppose.

We know that Orthodox Jews, whose newspapers you are referring to, have a misogynist & backward philosophy.
But I think you are stretching things beyond belief to say that Islamic ideas in this area are progressive.

Svengali, are you prepared to say anything to improve the image of Islam, or is it that you are prepared to say anything to denigrate Jews?

The people of Palestine would add their voices to that disagreement with you. Over the last 60 years tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed by Israel. Some of them children who were shot in the head for sport.

As long as the ruling elite can keep simpletons like longliar viewing the world in these simple terms and accepting and/or disseminating these glaringly absurd justifications for their aggression, the so called terrorist problem will continue and escalate. One thing the neo con's are right about is that we are in a war at the moment with these so called terrorists and they will use any tactics (including trying to galvinise their people through religion) to fight back at western aggression. The vicious and glaringly hypocritical foreign policy of the west is without a doubt the main reason why young men embrace the religious banner and become "radicalized". Australians and American/Europeans would behave in exactly the same way if the boot were on the other foot and while liars and/or fools like longliar continue to blindly swallow the war time propaganda of the string pullers we are destined to live through more and more horrors for a cause that is fundamentally none of our business.
